Nooo, it's simply Oda didn't want to show how overpowered they were, so early in the story of One Piece, otherwise the little garden part would have been so short and finished in a flash. Oda, did btw, shown and foreshadowing the fact they're very powerful, by showing their haki on the island eater fish. As well as when droggy is reading the future using haki, before the volcano actually exploded, and already knew it was gonna happen.

The sovereignity attack is what I found really interesting. First of all, Big Mom using it really drove home her power, since we got a throwback to the attack that left such an impression in the earlier days of One Piece. Back then it was a combined effort, and here is this person using it by herself. Then the realization swung around, that one of the strongest people in the world is using this same attack as her trump card, meaning that the giants from the start of the adventure can still keep up with the current power level.

Im sorry but i have to say that the mega inflation theory is just incorrect, brook recieved his bounty before rogers death, 50 years ago, a bounty at like 33m if i remember correctly, was average physically, average in skill, and basically just played instruments on a pirate crew of musicians who didnt do anything noteworthy to get the governments attention, meanwhile, luffy, a power holder, defeats a man who was threatening to take over the east blue and gets a 30m bounty, no there isnt inflation the bounties are just inconsistent as shit and i want people to stop defending this as if oda thought it through, he makes mistakes and these bounties simply are one of them

They for sure have haki. I am sure of it. Their epithets before they basically stepped away were Blue Ogre and Red Ogre. Chances are Dorry and Broggy can full body armament themselves and when they do their skin turns blue and red. And we know for sure thanks to luffy and katakuri that haki can be different colors depending on the advancement level.

In the same sense Dorry and Broggy are probably portrayed as red and blue but it would be weird for them to just be the only characters in the series to have colored haki. I think it’s just artistic design to represent the character, same reason zoro has a green conquerors aura, luffy vs Katakuri was shown as blue vs red, jinbei’s haki had a blue aura, etc.. it’s just design choice not literal colors
