Marvel comics used to make the distinction between mutant and mutate . Spiderman being a mutate was highlighted when among the X-men. Beast has a unique status along with some others of being both a mutant , and a mutate.

I like the actor who acted as Hank McKoy (human form) in X-men First Class very much. He showed intellect characteristics, his love towards Raven and care towards Charls, his friend. Actually back in The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe Volume 1, it was said that his strength range was around 3 tons & that he could run on all fours @ 30-40 mph. Basically the original human like Beast was built like a human ape. He could jump off of a 7 story building & land on his feet & bounce back up. His muscles were like steel coils! He could write in perfect cursive with his feet & of course his agility was crazy even back then. I believe they listed his stats @ 5’11” & 350 lbs. he actually played high school football to fit in his classmates. He didn’t want to be known as a brain. So, imagine him with all the mutations added to his physiology! There was even a time when his with X-Factor where the more he used his strength, the more devolved into an actual beast with no human intelligence at all. So, his strength would increase while his intelligence would decrease to an almost child-like level. When he recovered from that, that was when his strength increased. (I think that it was around that time X-Factor fought the Acolytes & he smashed the ground & whopped Frenzy’s ass!) So, basically I would say that he’s in the 60-75 ton range. It's also that it's ridiculously difficult to make Logan stay down. At least for longer than like an hour at best. Doesn't matter how strong you are if the guy you're fighting mends too quickly to take much of a dent. It's one reason Omega Red's seen as a credible threat. He can negate Wolvy's healing factor to a set point. (Never really helped him much, I will say that) Seems more like Beast would be more physically powerful, but they aimed to make him more the "ultimate" predator type. The full package of primal feats. So like Cap, he's full stars across the board, and less overall. Rather than characters like Juggernaut who have high marks in like 2 main areas, and those 2 as contributing factors in all other considerations. Beast is stronger outright than Wolverine, but he doesn't have a competitive healing factor to keep the fight up all night. Competitive being the key word, since for all I know they may have amended his stats to give him one of his own. He's actually my favorite counterpoint in commentary of humanity's desire to be what we are (animal at the end of the day) versus our need in the society we've created to function, to maintain civility. Attempt to control in arrogant assumptions, versus the base desire to unleash all. Which is the crux of what made him the blue version. A Beauty of a mind, in the Beast he can't hide.

Lotsa people think that beast is just slightly stronger than,"peak human strength/physicality" but the truth is far from it. The guy just holds back a lot against living opponents, he can go against powerhouses like Colossus,can't forget that time he stomped Colossus like a nail to the ground, literally. And one of the few capable of holding off juggynot,heheh. Speedwise, yeah he can sometimes be a blue blurr, he can fight multiple opponents like it was normal,uh for him that is. Beast and wolverine are very powerful. Beast is like the power and strength of about 8 LIONS smashed together, but my favorite,them against NAMOR, is like bringing a knife to stop nuclear explosion in comparison, if Namor has to fight either of them. Which was shown when Wolverine confronted Namor at the x-men mansion. BUT....wolverine punctured Namors chest VERY close to his heart, and if that pool wasnt there for Namor to jump in so quickly the outcome would have been different. Namor was SO POWERFUL that he bored through the concrete that surrounded the pool and snatched up wolverine in the air then TOMOHAWKED his ass to the ground and turned his internal organs into GOOP. WITH HIM having ADAMANTIUM as bones one would think that Namor hands would be broken, but I didnt matter one bit.

Going from his power grid rating and his constant feats, Beast should be AT LEAST in the 25 tons range in the physical strength department, with around 100 tons as his maximum limit. In speed and agility I'd say he should be even above Spider-Man and Wolverine, that feat of his catching a missile with his feet in his HUMAN form is absurd, as well as catching Hawkeye's arrow with his foot in his regular blue furry form. Even Peter has said Hank is as agile as him, back when he still had human appearance.

Beast in his human form fought against Blob and even was able to topple him. Blob is strong enough to fight against Savage Hulk and durable enough to take hits from Colossus, Hulk, Spider-Man and withstood a torpedo explosions.

Beast is one of the 8 smartest people in the world. That puts him up there with the likes of Reed Richards, Black Panther, Amadeus Cho and Hank Pym and others. He even has a healing factor, its not on the level of Wolverine's but he heals quicker than a normal human.Spider man is not on his strength level. Spiderman doesn't lift 60 tons, more like around 45 tons with great strain.

The few places where such machines exist are in the X-Men training facility mostly for Colossus beast and so forth and in the Baxter building. Where they were used by Benjamin Graham and She-Hulk Jennifer Walters. I'm not saying that those are the only places that made multiple ton weight lifting machines for the heroes to train on but those are the ones that we see most often in the comics

Hank McCoy is dead even with Spidey in strength and speed. The baby Colossus level 70 strength was Apocalypse screwing with Hank’s genetics after he was stripped of his blue fuzzy form. He was literally tossing trucks and lifting broken buildings. Trouble was that each exertion sapped his intelligence further until he took the treatment that turned him blue fuzzy again.

beast lifting strength: 100 tons

I'd say Hank is 60-80 ton range, at peak best; 25-50 ton range, on average, but his strength fluctuates with each mutation. In the early days, he was 1 ton (Cap level). His first mutation, (gray) he was around 10-25 ton range (Spider-Man level), with insane healing factor; the blue Beast was same strength range, minus the super-enhanced healing factor. The X-Factor human Beast had his strength boosted after being infected by Pestilence and became stronger whenever he used his strength, but dumber as a side effect. He was at his strongest at 60-80 ton range, around that time. After that, I stopped reading comics. I know he changed a few more times, after getting his intelligence back. Currently, I don't know what his strength level is or what his full powers are now.

11:22 in a real world, the beast, being for stronger, far more agile and far more physically gifted than wolverine should be able to tear apart the short Canadian regardless of his metal infused bones in metal claws. No one can undo or on see the time that Sasquatch snuck up on him slapped him against the wall a few times and knocked him out. Beast is far more capable of a fighter then Walter was and would need to sneak up on him to do it. Yeah, wolverine popularity has had riders every year retcon-ing His abilities. But all of that has come at the expense of characters like the beast or the hulk losing their toughness against him.

Chill bro. Marvel classed Beast as level 3, Wolverine as level 5 and Sasquatch as level 6 un their character hierarchy. So it's the opposite, if Wolvierine wanted to use his claws and tear him apart HE would've done it.

Wow never knew Beasty had greater strength then his original incarnation. I always believed that he was 5-10 tons at max. Spider-Man has always demonstrated superior strength compared to beast (his strength feats are more impressive) I always likened beast to cap’s strength. Good to know that he is capable of much more.
