During the process of making How Strong videos! I use a multitude of different sources (Google,Reddit,Wikia Even KZbin and etc) and things to make my job of filming videos like this easier! To find scans much faster. Nice tribute to Herc, who has always been one of my favorite chars. Thanks for all the vintage art. I was a little kid back when Marvel introduced him. I still have that first issue where he encountered Thor in one of many boxes of comics up in my attic. Also the issue where he met Hulk for the first time. Bill Everett was the artist on that one. In those early days Hulk, Thor and Herc were the strongest Marvel heroes. Hercules has gone through changes at Marvel over the long years since his first appearances. Zeus once weakened him by taking away his immortality which he later got back. You mentioned his time as the Chaos King. I'm not up to date on all the latest developments but it feels like Marvel has not shown Herc as much respect as they should have. The Maestro poisoned him? C'mon. He's been running around with modern weapons? Why? I realize that any char's power level really depends on whoever is writing the particular story but Hercules should always be very near the top of the strength scale. He should remain equal to the Hulk (minus all the insane power ups they've been doing to Hulk in the last few years) and Thor (before he got Odin's power).

Hercules is probably the physically strongest Marvel character that isn't a cosmic entity and I like that even though he is a god, he isn't written to be the Greek version of Thor. I wish he had more cinematic appearances. Chaos War was such an amazing story! God of gods Hercules was an absolute boss!

2:32 That fight scene was straight fire. Pip hits him from behind and he just no sells it and one shots him. He also took down 2 other members of the Infinity Watch in that fight and was besting Adam Warlock. It’s a shame that he’s not written at his classic level often these days.

The one that confused me was when he was depowered. I couldn't figure out if he was under peak human or over. They would show him having an issue taking down 2 robbers and then they'd have him wrestling a mildly superhuman villain. Was he Conan level or just an athletically strong guy like a football player? So glad they gave him back his power.

@@RobertSpiller well going by feats alone… Superman when it comes to speed is -pushing Planck time/ATTO(the femto feat is ATTO if you continue to read)and even faster while Thors best claimed feat is MICRO. -Not to mention, shattering infinity itself, and traveling instantaneously to the heart of the universe/edge of creation! -Shattering entire planets with his bare hands -Shattering planets, bigger than the sun and 6D with his feet alone! -Benching earth for five days straight over 1 million times with no effort at all -Carrying the GALAXIES themselves -Shattering entire timelines with a single punch -Shattering multiversal barriers on multiple occasions with his bare hands -Lifting infinity on three separate occasions, and once again shattering it on the fourth -Tanking the big bang -throwing entire planets into the sun -Creating entire suns -Moving entire planets -Cutting entire planets in half with his eyes and blowing them away at will -Shattering and rewriting entire timelines AND Capable of making entire dimensions ceased to exist with only his base power! I read both of them, and I have just about all of their collections in physical format! And I love Thors feats but Superman is just stronger and faster! And with the benefit of unlimited power! Almost each and one of Thor’s feats he’s struggled to do for the few seconds that it was and he’s literally nothing without his hammer… he’s flying around on magical chariots, because even the thunder will no longer listen to him. And most importantly, they’ve already thought before Superman beat him in marvel themselves admitted that Superman was superior, and Thor would lose the fight. So it really just comes down to opinion but it’s already happened… hopefully that helped!

Especially not in strength and damn sure not in speed… that’s what happens when you break infinity and traveling instantaneously to the heart of the universe/edge of creation!!! @IStevenSeagal Marvel said that Supes was more power? Was it that Jason Arons guy who said that because if it was, completely ignore that. As you know Thor is a God....superman is not. I would actually like to see Ivan really do an indepth review of a Thor vs Superman, and here's the thing. If Thor fights smart, then supes will lose quickly and the reason I say that. Thor is a son of the earth and he can command it to do what he says...what if he says for all the kryptonite to come to his aid and surround Supes, the fight is over. Now if they get into a brawl with fist and everything, I think that Thor can take a punch from Superman. If he can take a punch from Marvel's Hercules, and not that pitiful one in DC comics, it would be a good fight but again I think it would go to Thor....he just has too many weapons and Supes has just a few weaknesses but those weaknesses are enough.
