This is the best explanation video for Peter Parker Spider Powers I’ve ever seen. I’m glad other people realize that officially Peter’s power fluctuates, has numerous in universe reasons for his inconsistent feats, and that it’s more complicated than people think. Consistency I would place Peter in the City to Island level, with massively faster than light combat speed. Since his most typical powerful villains are characters that can destroy New York (even in the games). Along with being faster than Daredevil, who at times is faster than characters that canonically dodge light beams (like the US Agent).

Start off with classic Spiderman 1960s, then read tie ins comics and his early 2000 up to current comics, you can find a reading order for him. His comics are very long to read and the comic tie ins due to the fact that there are so many comics.

Captain Force I got some questions 1) She Hulk admitting he’s too fast is a testament to his speed which is true. But why did you bring up that She Hulk fights against Banner and Thor? It’s irrelevant since they hold back unless you wants to argue infinite to immeasurable speed Spidey which is a flaw in itself. 2) Those scans with Peter oneshotting Venom and Carnage are inconsistent. One time Peter socked Cassidy with all his might and Cassidy laughed it off. Plus, Spidey has admitted Venom is one of the few creatures he can unleash his full power on but Venom manages to stay conscious and isn’t taken out in one hit. Make of this what you will.

The strength/powers upgrades he was given has been nerfed, ignored or removed for the most part. Some books have him looking like a 5'2" scrawny anorexic with a pumpkin head and stick limbs. Then it was all about suits and gadgets. There really isn't anything spidery about him other than wall crawling. Even the webs are fake. It's more the 'spider themed man'. He has no real spider like abilities, is always a loser but we're constantly told he's the 'special' one. Being responsible isn't special. A lot of heroes are strong so again, nothing unique.

He been buffed in the 90's. 80's comics had him correct. Had the strength of ten men, about the same as cap, but was the most agile on the earth. And had danger precognition.
