Warpath's strength has been all over the place since his Hellions days. He's been described as Class 90 strength but then also had to tussle with an alligator when he's supposed to be Colossus tier.

Explanation :Remember world war hulk was holding back when he fought the juggernaut and even sentry. This is stated in heart of the monster story. Its said that he could've "easily killed everyone" if he wasn't holding back. Also Per the writer of world war hulk and juggernaut fight. He said the reason the foundations was shaking when juggernaut and hulk locked up is because hulk ACTUALLY STOPPED Juggernaut so the foundations started buckling. If you go back you see a close up pic of hulk feet sliding back then it stops next you see Xavier scared that they whole foundation was going to collapse. Also marvel universe says warpath lifts 70 tons. Colossus lifts 100 tons. The thing ligts 85 tons.

Aww yeah. Glad to see you doing Warpath! In terms of strength I'd put in at the Super Mediumweight tieir. Easily comparable To Luke Cage, Classic She-Hulk, or Carol Danvers. But his speed, skill, and weapons would put him above them overall. I Think he could hang with the minor heavyweights like Thing, Colossus, and Doc Samson. If only through sheer willpower.

Very good job! I think the reasons for Warpath's inconsistencies is the writers kept giving him power ups and new abilities (flight for one) and now they're walking that back. Same thing happened to Sunspot-- ironic because they at one point were enemies and both lifting in range of 3 tons (back in New Mutant early days). It's like someone at Marvel decided to make these characters into a heavy hitter but half assed it and then cast them away to develop a new character.

Warpath has Nightwing/Vegeta Syndrome. On paper he's a monster and the line others can be judged by, but once the story needs a tough guy to be taken down to prove the threat, he's the guy that goes down.

Warpath DOES get stronger over time since he was just a kid when he joined the Hellions. He has strength trained over the years, just like Colossus and other super strong mutants, and increased his levels of power. He also had several power upgrades that were explored in X-Force looong before Grant Morrison explored the "secondary mutations" concept.

@@AXL664 Yes, it's plainly stated throughout the comics as well as in various Marvel Handbooks. The Thing from the Fantastic Four is also famous for this. There are TONS of comics where he's using the specially designed multi-ton weights Reed built him to improve his physique. Colossus in on plenty of panels lifting weights in skin and bone form and in Osmium steel form. I'm sure there's an upper limit, like with regular folks, but we all know their upper limits are superhuman or beyond.

Warpath is a very cool superhero. It is weird on how he was able to take on Juggernaut and hang in there while in the Hulk fight, he ends up being KOed. I do hope to see more of Warpath in a X-men game eventually

Thunderbird from the GIFTED is Warpath's Brother John Proudstar. John is ex-military. Warpath aka James Proudstar was in a X-Men film. James never joined the military. Thunderbird ... Lift 3 tons. Warpath .. started at 5 tons. In XForce reached 70 ton range. As an Xman went to class 100 range.

Warpath is one of my favorite X-men characters of all time, but it’s crazy how they do him in comics! In AvX he got beat up by Captain America and knocked out smh. And then on top of that his knives were getting held by by Daredevil’s batons smh. When it comes to fodder characters he’s a beast but when it comes to known characters he usually loses for some reason. And he’s a lot stronger than his brother! His brother is I believe 6’2 while he’s 7’2. And Warpath is class 90(tons) and his brother is I believe Class 2(tons). But one thing I will say about weapons that negate durability. Wolverine is barely able to cut Juggernaut and Colossus. He’s not able to cut them all the time! He has to use maximum effort to cut someone like Juggernaut or Colossus. Wolverine is barely able to cut those two. Majority of the time he(Wolverine) can’t cut Colossus or Juggernaut.

When Warpath and Juggernaut first fought Juggernaut was at full power. He had not had any issues with Cytorak at the time. A super soldier is nowhere near in the league of Warpath who according to Marvel is still 75-95 ton lifter. This puts him far beyond Luke Cage who can only lift 50 tons

I hate how inconsistent writers are with Warpath! He got KO'd by Captain America very quickly off panel. He's stronger, faster, tougher and has two vibraniam knives. No way the Captain was gonna end it standing over him saying "stay down son." Ya fucking right! Steve Rogers may have better technical fighting experience, but Warpath was trained by Cable. He's no slouch either. I owned an X-Force comic with Wolverine saying that Warpath can't handle and heal from machine gun fire. But he's also on his and Sabertooth's level?

@@alexferrana3979 the old warpath was in level with the thing in my opinion, he even was super huge in size, huge, strong and fast, that was amazing about him, he had the strength of colossus and the thing and maybe they were stronger than him but he was faster and could jump super high like hulk. But then Marvel decided to turn him into a Wolverine like character with knives. When Warpath and Juggernaut first fought Juggernaut was at full power. He had not had any issues with Cytorak at the time. A super soldier is nowhere near in the league of Warpath who according to Marvel is still 75-95 ton lifter. This puts him far beyond Luke Cage who can only lift 50 tons
