ok for clarification a mistake I see people doing is saying that ace is as strong as smoker just because he said that they're evenly matched ace actually implied that their devil fruit powers are evenly matched and he also said that a battle between smoke and fire would last forever and ace is stronger that yamato in my opinion and even stronger than katakuri in a certain point of view but you may be saying "oh ye well ace doesn't have all three types of haki" JUST READ THE ACE NOVEL HE HAS ALL THREE TYPES OF HAKI oh and also one last thing in my opinion ace could have beaten blackbeard only if he asn't blinded by rage after thatch's death

Dude. What Ace was meaning when he was fighting Smokie was. They both have logia’s. Their logia’s will just cancel each other out sense they both have mastered the logia devil fruit to the point where non haki attacks just pass right through them both. And at this point. No one was really using haki. And i would of honestly given the edge to Smokie anyway. The weapons he uses are made out of what? Its a little thing that nullifies devil fruit abilities. But, i cant remember why Smokie didnt use them. It was to long ago. 😂 But Ace was just staying the fact that 2 logia users if fighting, (with non haki attacks) will basically be pointless. Sure there are outliers. Like the very very few logia’s that dont make the wielder intangible. Im sure if you took Smokie and Ace and put them in a arm wrestling match or on a weight bench, that Smokie would win.

You ever wondered how strong smoker would be...lets.imagine if smoker cam make a bubble of smoke laarge enough to capture his opponent completely it would so powerful attack ....or lets say if smoker would choke his opponents by either filling smoke in his opponents lungs making hard to breath or remove all oxygen from someone's lungs....even if someone is very strong but no matter how strong he or she they have to breath to fight or stay allive...Just imagine how over power this attck would be ✨🔫

The person could, just walk out of the bubble of smoke? I mean. Smoke cant physically hurt someone or keep someone captive like fire or ice can. Smoke could make people pass out from lack of oxygen. But then, a good windy day kinda nullifies Smokie. Smokie is one of my fave characters. So i have given how strong he could be/what he could do a lot of thought lol.

Ace and Sabo are always comparable in strength, so it wouldn’t make sense to assume he’d be the one brother who WB believed could become pirate king if he couldn’t even use haki
