Mario Strikers Charged is one of my favourite games of all time - it gave the characters so much personality, and is the reason for Waluigi and Daisy being my favourite characters in the Mario universe. I don't think we'll see one again - I don't think it fits with Nintendo's current vision of the Mario series, but the sheer hype if they ever announced a new one would be off the scale.

Dude I have SUCH memories of RAGING at this game... I recall finding that, if the opponent skill was set to Superstar, the team would actually have the potential to gain to an even higher skill than Legend if you were beating them like 5 to 0... The coding of this game was honestly infuriating... I can't tell if it was just my underdeveloped young mind, but the game FUCKED with me like no other game had ever managed to achieve... Pure love & passion for the pain of it...

@@FigureFarter Yeah, but that was in the Wii era. Nowadays, Mario is being forced to be generic and basically be the same friendly nature it usually is, and to remain as generic as possible. This affects spinoff series, and prevents them from having their own unique image rather than being forced to scream "DUUUUUUR! New. Super Mario Bros." Just look at the older Mario Parties and compare them to the newer ones. It's pretty clear what the difference is. Then again, Luigi's Mansion 3 managed to set it's own unique image. If Luigi were replaced by a non-Mario character, it wouldn't be a Mario game. And Mansion 3 was made by the same developers as Mario Strikers. So, we'll have to wait and see.
