Speaking for myself I typically try to buy things I love strictly. There’s been a few sneakers I’ve bought where I got them in and was like wtf is this but I’ve been more & more picky these days.

@@NORI. gotta also take into account how much funding Nike has put into the last 20 years to influence peoples opinions to the point where if you can see inspiration from a Nike shoe automatically put into the bootleg category a real sneaker head appreciate the subtle changes and differences from shoe to shoe such as the dc Williams og vs the Jordan 12 or bape vs af1 but everyone will talk shit on the dc shoe say it’s a rip off and they will shout to the heavens how great the bape is (even though the dc shoe has more changes and alterations to the design )

What I was getting at with this video is that supreme hit a peak where people who weren’t fans started buying into it. That extra hype went away and only core fans are left which isn’t necessarily a bad thing it’s what happened with sneakers and I love it. Just thought it would be a fun discussion video

@@NORI. i have to disagree as local demand (Hartford, Springfield, Eastern Mass) has all remained high. They aren't core fans, just the average person needing drip for a party that weekend and going out. i sold 5 satin applique sweatsuits the past 3 days at $400 a piece consigned with a store who got $500 per suit. Just copping the top 2 items each week are always the best and move fast local

I've been a supplier for 5 local shops for Supreme. I'm still dropping between $4k-$10k each release, and haven't seen demand change at all. Only thing that isn't moving are bogos. Bogos at this point are just moving as much as any other hoodie and will demand the same price. In my area, the Satin Appliques are having crazy higher demand while bogos have been sitting on the shelf for many months

So the priorities plus maturity has definitely nullified the "HYPE" fomo for Supreme. The pieces are there. Its just the need has changed for items being released. Selective purchasing i say. Great vid and purchase! Thank you for that. I know the feeling to buy just to buy is no longer there for myself.

Not saying it’s a bad thing because in some cases it makes pieces more obtainable but it takes way from the desire of wanting it.

Back in 2015-18, it was incredibly impossible for me to get some Supreme. At some point, I just gave up all together until 2022 I got my hands on my first box logo, and ever since then i've been collecting a bunch of hits! I'm one of those fans that will stay loyal to the brand. I use to be a skater myself after all.

What’s killing it for me with Supreme is: every time there’s a killer colab, these MF BOTS lurking and can’t even cop one thing. It’s 2024, you’d think Supreme would do a domain change or change the checkout from Shopify. I ain’t spending no money on resale. Like you said if I get I get it. Bots just make it that much more frustrating.

They do both but nobody really highlights those things they released multiple pieces this year that had bible scriptures on it i have both of them the beanie was actually from 2 seasons ago but the Hoodie was from last season the "Holy name hoodie" that was released and a hat around same time they released the Toy machine demon fleece hoodie. Yet nobody even mentioned those really.
