Almost no one wants genetically engineered food but in most countries especially those with under developed economies that's the only affordable choice there is because of the financial interest of those who profit from the benefits of the research. Where one man sees the advantages of science for science sake another man sees investment and profit for profit sake even if that means exploiting and taking away the rights and freedoms of another man.

You make a valid point about concerns around corporate interests and genetically engineered food. However, when managed responsibly, this technology helps fight hunger and improve food security, especially in vulnerable areas. The challenge is ensuring innovation benefits everyone. Do you have any ideas about what could help us strike that balance with any of the developments discussed here?

@@wondrospodcast We already know from history that one social demographic used advanced technology to enrich themselves at the expense and suffering of less advanced human societies. They are the same same forces who are invested in advanced food production. They have not put their money down for the sake of being benevolent, the only objective for them is profit. Just as in the medical industry it will be affordable at first but once the target consumer gets hooked on the drug and can't grow their own food anymore, there's only direction prices are going to go. Again only one small group of people will gain from GMO food

What about nano technology for male reproduction malfunctions? Cause the penile prosthesis is not that foolproof.

I’m not sure. I’m just not confident of these technologies. Humankind will progress, I guess. ‘Lizabeth! I’m comin’!
