As a K-pop fan and a Swiftie, I’ve noticed Taylor structures her career and fandom like K-pop artists do. There are so similarities, like making each album a distinguishable era, staying very close with her fans, and even her merch has started to involve things like photo cards! I remember being surprised when Swiftie were dressing up as album eras or inside jokes for the Eras Tour, as I had only really seen it for K-pop concerts before the Eras Tour started. The trading friendship bracelets also feel very similar to how K-pop fans trade photo cards at shows. It’s really cool to see

I think for me … uhm… I would say that what keeps me hooked are the following points: her incredible talent for lyrics. You have to LISTEN to many songs multiple times to understand the triple meanings and relationships to other songs. I think that also pushes her Spotify popularity. And also - I admit - every new album to me is a bit like the next season of a tv show. You know the actors and then you get the “what happened suche the last album”
