When I think of this topic, the first thing that comes to mind is how the internet age has affected print media. I can't remember the last time I bought a magazine, and it's been 23 years since I subscribed to a newspaper. You would be hard pressed to find a 20 year span in human history where lifestyles of the majority of people on the planet changed so dramatically in such a short time.
