On that play Quinn got stripped 10:32, they should've had a third option to an inside screen to the 2nd RB trailing. If the defense gets too aggressive at running to the ball, the inside back is open for a tunnel screen with the right tackle as a lead blocker.

At 2:49 the safety missed the tackle yes, but as defenders we’re taught if you over commit to the outside a bit it’s okay because you have help if you push the run inside, but you have no help on the outside especially in a goal line scheme…. Safety did his job perfectly

You have help to the outside. The sideline is the 12 defender. But yes always contain to the inside
