Texas’ defense balled out and bailed out the offense’s mistakes. But the biggest issue is just how inconsistent A&M is offensively. All year. You spend all this money and NIL: you havent been able to keep offensive talent and terrible OC choices.

Why did they stopped having this rivalry after 2011? I know A&M wasn't in the SEC back then but still. I didn't know this was a super big rivalry. I was hoping A&M would win and play against Georgia in the SEC championship game because those 2 teams didn't play against each other this year. That would've been a more interesting matchup in my opinion.

A&M left big 12 conference. Thats why these teams stopped playing each other. Now that they are in the SEC together they’ll play them every year. I was at the game, it was electric! Unfortunately Texas fans at the game acted like pigs and would cheer and yell chants when players on A&M were hurt. Classless. Got heckled and almost jumped by Texas frat dudes. Sad because stigmas do exist, obviously they for sure have one as their fans that acted horribly made their own fans as a whole look bad. Extreme rivalry which is bound to create extreme tension 😂

Since this wasn’t a high scoring game, I feel both teams really played their hearts out. It was still an intense and hard-fought game. The defense on both sides played a significant role in keeping the score down, and every point counted in this closely contested rivalry match. Quinn Ewers played well as he threw for 218 yards and a touchdown. What a huge run by Texas backup quarterback Arch Manning! He came in for a 4th-and-2 play and dashed 15 yards to the end zone, giving the Longhorns an early 7-0 lead.
