They say Swahili is one of the easiest languages in Africa. Whose going to debunk that theory? When i first started learning Swahili, it was not easy by a long shot. If i learnt Luganda or even Kinywanda, it might have been easier for me. They say some African languages are similar with words and grammar.

It seems like you might be Arabic or Indonesian. If you are Arabic, you will learn Swahili pretty well because Arabic has roots in the Swahili language.

Some of the grammar in Swahili is confusing. I hardly ever hear the advanced or native level Swahili people talk like the written form in Swahili when it is very advanced or native level.. To me it is easier to understand people when they speak Swahili than to read it. I think this language would be useful to me in the future.
