In this video Adam teaches you how the hip bump at address can change your golf game right now! It is important to know that when setting up with the hip bump, the hips move toward the target about an inch in order for the lead leg to act as a post, while the upper body maintains in current spine angle. Another benefit to having the hip bump is the ability to turn in the proper spine angle which Adam covers in this video as well!

The hip bump fixed my iron swing like magic. Ball striking is more solid and consistent now. I learned many other things on here too like keeping the club in front of you. All these things helped me tremendously. Thanks Adam.

This set up leaves you not thinking about anything apart from tempo. Just great 👍

Adam's teaching this setup has worked so well for me that I now even use it on 20 yard pitch shots ! My Saturday foursome is stumped by my improved play and lower scores.

In the past, when I try and hip bump or move my hips forward during the downswing I end up too far behind the ball and chunk it. Looking forward to trying this!

Hi, I follow your posts regularly. I have benefited a lot from your instruction & want to thank you for it. Recently I watched a few posts where you are giving lessons to a left hand golfer. Sometimes you are emulating a left handed swing. May I recommend that you make the left handed golfer carry out your instructions in his swing but you may wish to stick to your own right handed swing. When you mix these up it makes it very confusing. The video on which I am commenting is a case in point.

Thank you so much, The hip bump is slower becoming much clearer! I wish you can dedicate a KZbin session on this topic in detail for set up, back and down swing and hip rotation . Please?

Love your stuff. I get what you’re saying about nothing comes from the backswing but it would be great if you could elaborate on the many that do think faster is faster, under control of course. Do you advocate a building of speed?

I discovered the bump a while back and thought it was my personal secret as not to many talk about it. I find it surprising though how many can’t put it together from there. Eye dominance maybe? lol Plenty of power and accuracy from here.

When you do the hip bump, dont you find that your left hip just needs to rotate back anyways in the backswing, or do you feel like after the hip bump your left hip just kind of stays in place?

As a beginner trying to learn properly "from the ground up" systematically, my head is spinning. At least some of the other instructors seem to stress the hip moving forward then rotating back on the downswing (unless I'm missing something?), but what I'm seeing here makes sense as well. (And don't most pros have that forward movement or no?) Learning some other highly detailed skills at a high level (piano and classical voice) I've lived through the pain of undoing improper techniques grooved early on and I'm hoping to avoid that with learning golf. It just seems like there is so much instruction that directly contradicts one another (which ALL makes sense to me when I hear it individually!) that I'm having a hard time selecting an online instructor / course to roll with. Maybe there is just multiple ways to skin the cat in a golf swing and I just have to take the plunge?

I hear you. You can't beat a one on one lesson. I have found my personal coach is aligned with the messages on this channel. You can get lost on KZbin. I only listen to this guy and my coach. I'm a big over rotator... stuck behind so the messages here work for me

Adam - as you know from my comments on other videos, big fan of your system! I have a question about the ‘club running up the right forearm’ in the set position. Have been doing some mirror work and feel that for me the club seems to be really quite flat (ie butt pointing above ball, not in the golden triangle you talk about) when I try to line it up with the right forearm. Seems the club has to be above the right forearm to have anything like a vaguely normal backswing. Not doubting your system but just asking whether there is anything I could be doing wrong that comes to mind? Thanks
