TONEX ONE is nice! Guitar processors can make a big difference in sound depending on the CAB IR you use. actually there are many IR products on the market, but I think DYNAX IR has the best sound. As stated in their product description, DYNAX IR is really fast. When using IRs, the pick attack is sometimes delayed, and it is difficult to add picking nuances, but their IR prevents all of that. Awesome video man. The only improvement that I would surely welcome is a gate with downward extention multiband denoising- like the Bertom denoiser. Some of the high-gain Tone models are quiet with the current gate when not playing, but tend to allow a lot of noise and hiss through while playing. I've found the Bertom denoiser ridiculously helpful for in DAW studio recording, but when I play live with Tonex pedal I find room for improvement. Helix has a better gate imo. Outside of this aspect, Tonex is king!

@@capoman1 I could, of course, but what for, if I have already some thousand self modeled ToneX files on my computer - and on ToneNet - mostly from rare, self modded or rather unusal tube gear, which I hardly ever use by myself, because I prefer using the real gear instead? Both never sound the same and this is my point. Not for recording, much less for live gigging. But ok, I have access to this gear, others maybe have not, this I understand, on the other hand there also were times, when guitar players and one or two guitars and one or two amps and wrote, played and created even today iconic songs, while today every student has acces to tons of - well - more or less great sound and tool, but you hardly hear any iconic, innovative, unique music today, at least I hardly do. In my opinion ToneX has to be improved a lot, before it really is usable for live gigging, as it is, it still is worlds apart from the necessary quality and authenticity level. It's a nice tool, but still rather on bedroom toy than professional level, at least for me. Still only some Kemper for the poor for me, although I also would not want to use the Kemper system insetad of my real tube amps. But of course you can call me old-school concerning this. I am in fact, at least old, so who cares....
@capoman18 ай бұрын
@@HEZ63 I don't gig and mainly tinker at home. And to me, I've been happy (not being a gearhead) to tinker with modeler vst's, mostly just to see what's possible and how things have advanced, and to use to jam along with and learn songs.... So NONE of these pedals are for me lol! I have way more flexibility recording into daw the line in, and being to tweak or change the amp after recording.. I can't see any of these pedals being better than plugins for recording, only for jamming and gigging live. So I feel you. I think the plugin and modeler tech is a buzz thing now, and doesn't much appeals to truly good gigging or recording musicians. I mean Kemper and Axe fx have many pros using them full time, but not all these others... About the only gear channel I see that features AN ACTUAL top notch gigging musician is Ola. And he WILL NEVER use any of the gear he demoes on an album or live lol... Mostly I think we're entertained by the tech, and many are gearheads instead of real musicians. No offense to anyone. But NEARLY EVERY gear channel I watch, for example Anderton's, but tons of them out there, they have a WALL of guitars for decoration, and a huge wall of amps same way.... Then when they actually play the guitar to demo gear, THEY ARE AWFUL players and sound like they're still in their first year of playing. I had better chops than them at age 15 playing through just a Bandit 112. I wanna criticize them cause it seems ridiculous they don't improve their chops when this is their business and full time gig. Sad.

@@capoman1 I think,understand your arguing, although I do not share all your opinions. But, what I especially with the ToneX campaign have noticed even more than ever before, is, that KZbin more and more becomes an advertising only platform or it's AI systems and algorithms more and more make it to one. Which for me will be the reason, not to use it as often in the future, I think. I have sometimes seen excellent demos - or shall I say prepaid adversting - for several products, but if I ordered them, a lot of them became instant returns, because they sounded completely different in reality. Not always, some things things really worked and sounded as I expected it, but a lot also did not. But for me, if I look for reliable, neutral, really professional, qualified reviews KZbin meanhwile became not the righ address. Sell gear, make money, the rest is unimportant.... ...this idea in general I dislike. Quality and real competence are missing for me a lot meanwhile. The other thing is, if you are a successful professional musician, have written, released and played some iconic songs, you hardly will spend your time with relasing KZbin demos. So the so called "pros" here more or less are unsucessful in reality and with their own music, at least this is my impression, so they had to find a new field to earn some money. More or less successful. Or as a joke says: "What are you doing?" "I'm an influencer." "Oh great, I can't do anything either." ;-)
