How can Dodgers be an evil empire when the whole team is humble and it’s not the dodgers fault for wanting to win 😅 other teams should go out and spend too!
@yaniyuhara8165Күн бұрын
This is a business move as well as a baseball move. By signing this Korean player, Dodgers are actively trying to expand the brand “Dodgers” in Korea. Apparently they had a huge success with Japanese market by signing Ohtani and Yamamoto.

They keep calling the Dodger evil empire. It’s would be great if other owners spend money on competing with other teams that players would want to go with them. It would be great for baseball.

Serious!! I'm glad Shohei stopped wasting his time there. There was no interest in winning the WS.
@StellonC2 күн бұрын
@davec9736 Shoei always wanted to be a Dodger. The only reason he signed with the Angels was that the NL didn't have the DH back in 2017.

💯💙 Let's go Dodgers and F the angels for holding Shohei back and ruining Mike Trout's career

I dont think he'll draw in thr amt of korean fans as some say. Sure some will come watch him soley because hes korean, but he needs to actuay be good for a larger korean fanbase to want to come watch and support him.

Great vid! Love the comparison between jinan/ Ningbo to sh, though those cities are actually not that bad!!!

haha, honestly I just picked 2 random Chinese cities that had at least 5 million people that I hadn't heard of and wouldn't be too hard to pronounce. When I went to look for unflattering pictures of those cities, it was actually quite difficult because as you mentioned they actually looked quite nice haha

I’m here after Lux got traded to Reds. And I think baseball fans will hate Dodgers more after Sasaki joins them 😆

Lux does not suck. His floor is league average and he's cheaper than Kim. Lux managed to be one of the best hitters in MLB for a month last year. Kim will never sniff such heights. Happy to have Kim aboard, but he is not taking second base from Lux anytime soon. Kim will not be a difference maker in his first year.
