Did 8 years as a Navy Corpsman, very fortunate do work along side and take care of Marines the entire time, with my “blue” rotation working at MCRD SD and “green side” with 1st Marine Division. Loved it and cherish the time and Marines and Sailors I served with. As a teacher now, I always urge my students to consider the military as a career or to kickstart your life even if they do 4 and get out.

I’m a recruiter going on 11yrs and it definitely goes by fast I was going to get out at 10 but then army told me I was going to be a recruiter and I thought maybe it’s a change I need. And it has definitely been a breath of fresh air.

My uncle was in three tours in iraq, after his first deployment he was still him, second one, he was scarred, third one he was never the same, he still suffers, he is fucking 41 and finally finishing college, he just sleeps eats and thats it

@AONIXO he is a former SEAL teams LT that mentors young men and women that want to do special programs in the military. I wouldn’t say he bashes the Marines, but does dissuade them from trying out for recon or MARSOC because of washout rates/selection compared to other options.
