There was a rumour that before Skoal, the sponsor was to have been American Smoking Supplies Bandit, until someone pointed out the unfortunate acronym.

I LOVED the Skoal Bandit. I was a young kid and had the cheap plastic car that I shuffled all over my yard and sand box. That logo was a big part of my growing up.

He is still a great man I think NASCAR should show him a little airtime to this day!!! Family first not racing that is Harry!! This man built his own brick house with his hands rather than making someone else do it!!

What a great video, would love to see more of it. I was in Harry's fan club when I was a teenager. They would have an art contest every year. I was fortunate to win it a couple times, even got to stay at his condo in Myrtle Beach. He is such a class act with a wonderful family as well.
