There will always be a passive buyer (limit) that gets hit by an aggressive seller (market).

Great video. The little tips and tricks were really helpful. I have often found using times and sales is too fast for me to keep up while learning so changing the setting for larger buyers and then using screenshots to be able to freeze the tape and examine what just happened. That's huge! Thank you.

Great content. My issue is reading this tape in real time. I see how when its frozen I can tell when aggressive buyers and sellers are entering the market, but in real time when the thing is flying through I find myself going back and forth between the LVLII and T/S looking for any sign of strength or weakness coming up. If there's a buyer for every seller, and v.v., how can you say that the sellers in the demand zone were short-sellers? It would seem they could easily just be longs liquidating, right?

Awesome vid. What are the green and red colors for in time and sales on tos? So do limit orders actually turn in to market orders at execution? Got confused about market orders only hitting limit orders? I understand limit orders are passive and market orders are aggressive. Are you saying that market orders are the actual moment and limit are future? Wondering if you can break this down any more. In watched it three times and still a little confused. Sorry. But one of the best I’ve seen for level 2 and time n sales.

Thank you! So on TOS, it doesnt split the volume between bid vs ask like other platforms. Red means the ticket was a downtick from the previous and green means the ticket was an uptick from previous

Man I had always liked trading in zones but to color code them never occurred to me and to label them in regards to it's specified timeframe. Added that to my strategy and boy has it worked. Nailed /ES for SPY puts this morning and was able to nail SPY calls at powerhour today. Such great information man and I appreciate it much. Do you have any book recommendations?

Hi Carmine !!!! Really it's a great video.Thank you for this!!!But I don' t understand some things with limit order execution. For example AAPL price BID $125,79/ASK $125,80 (if I correct understand BID is the BUYER who want to buy AAPL $125,79 and ASK is the SELLER who want to sell AAPL $125,80 - all of them by limit orders!!!) If I looking to BUY AAPL at the CURRENT MARKET PRISE (MKT ORDER), I would pay $125,80 (by ASK) while if I wishes to sell AAPL at the CURRENT MARKET PRISE (MKT ORDER) I would receive 125,79 (by BID). But what will happen if I want to BUY AAPL by LIMIT ORDER - 125,79? In this case I will be the buyer , and from your video I need somebody who HIT in my limit order 125,79 (BID) by the market order, BUT MARKET ORDER IS THE ASK. I DONT UNDERSTAND THE LOGIC!!!Also quote from INVESTOPEDIA: "When Is a Buy Limit Order Executed": Suppose a trader expects a stock price to fall to $50 and wishes to buy the stock in the event that it does retrace downward to that level. If they place a buy limit order at $50 and the stock falls only to exactly the $50 level, their order is not filled, since $50 is the bid price, not the ask price. The current market price showing for a stock is always the bid price. AND WHY THE CURRENT MARKET PRISE showing for a stock by the bid price?In time and sales I see which trades made from BID (RED) and from ASK (GREEN).
