First, thank you for your detakied explanation for unprofessional folks such myself. Secondly i have leak from suction line due to car aging 2014 Nissan Maxima, so is it save to keep it for a while without turniaing a/c on so later i can foxe and recharge freon? Or empty cooling system may lead to serious issue later? Thank you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Thanks so much! Very helpful to understand abt the plastic hose. In my case, the fan cut the plastic hose and I was thinking to cover with plaster but it’s not possible 😢.

In the first diagram the arrow is pointing to the suction line and is labeled the discharge line. Please fix this to point to the correct line. The subsequent diagrams are correct.

In my 2000 Chevrolet S10 pickup they designed it so did the hoses for discharge and suction both cross over top of my fan shroud and that makes it very difficult to get the fan shroud out without having to really flex those hoses to the tune of about three or four inches up to jockey the fan shroud around and get it out. Doesn't that break them automatically if they're under pressure

Anytime you open the system, it introduces ambient air. This system needs to be vacuumed down before refrigerant is reintroduced it. Holding a vacuum also confirms system is leak free.

as stated below, your 1st diagram seems to be wrong. the discharge hose, you say, is a high side hose. yet, in your diagram, it's labeled a low side hose. i would love to say this video was helpful, because i really feel it was. you could've too actually fucked me, as I'll forever have this incorrect diagram in my head, for the rest of my life. only time will tell
