How the UK's Brimstone 2 Missiles reach Ukraine | ACCESS

I have never seen it confirmed before that the UK was sending Brimstone 2. Up until now most of the official communications have suggested that they were legacy stockpiles of Brimstone 1 that were being passed to Ukraine. Maybe I missed the announcement.

Why this isn't really secret at all. The government have openly advertised that they are supplying weapons to Ukraine, it really shouldnt come as any supprise that the military transport military equipment in miltary aircraft, their clearly not in Ukraine, and all sides have said that NATO is moving weapons through Poland. Also Russia has satellites and radars so they would know about this long before the video went up.

Also the Brimstone is not compatible with the UKs fleet of Apaches because the US refused to integrate it which means he UK still needs the Hellfire and are forced to buy those from the US as part of the original contract. So that’s even cheekier from the US. So at the moment the Brimstone are just for fixed wing aircraft and now it seems… erm trucks. No harm in having both though as very similar.

I like to watch flights on flightradar24 and such. I guess there's worse hobbies in life. It's interesting to see eastern Europe activity as well as Mediterranean, Nordic and up near Iceland, as well the US. Of course, fighters are rarely showing on the radar but there are aircraft that show and it's nice to know surveillance and refuelers are up and that most certainly there are fighter squadrons with those refuelers. There are pages which aggregate and discuss highlights from flightradar24 which I read regularly. Itamilradar is one example of many.

It's not hard to work out the location it's got to be close to the boarder of Ukraine so maybe Lublin Airport or even Rzeszow both in Poland where 101 US airborne are based it's all over the American news channels. Then from the airport it's then on trucks over the boarder. Logistics not rocket science. The airfield has to be big enough to take all the air traffic. Also the person in front of the camera also says it's been a good few hours so. He gives the location away.
