What kind of IQ can say this sentence? When the United Nations was founded, where was India? India was not a country yet. China was the victor of World War I and World War II. The original signatories of the Declaration of the United Nations The original 26 signatories were: the United States, the United Kingdom, the Soviet Union, China, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Costa Rica, Cuba, Czechoslovakia, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Greece, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, India, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Poland, the Union of South Africa, and Yugoslavia. Subsequent signatories The countries that subsequently signed the Declaration of the United Nations are (in order of signing date): Mexico, the Philippines, Ethiopia, Iraq, Brazil, Bolivia, Iran, Colombia, Liberia, France, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Paraguay, Venezuela, Uruguay, Turkey, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Lebanon Find out where India is by yourself. India was not a country at that time On October 25, 1971, the 26th session of the United Nations General Assembly adopted the draft resolution proposed by 23 countries including Albania and Algeria with an overwhelming majority of 76 votes in favor, 35 votes against, and 17 abstentions, deciding to "restore all rights of the People's Republic of China, recognize the representatives of her government as the only legitimate representatives of China in the United Nations, and immediately expel the representatives of Chiang Kai-shek from the seats illegally occupied by it in the United Nations and all its affiliated agencies A simple fact is that among the five countries of the United Nations, China and the Soviet Union each sacrificed more than 20 million soldiers and civilians in World War II. The purpose of establishing the United Nations is not for the peace of those small countries, but to ensure that there will be no more wars between these five countries.

It's time for the global majority to create their own UN-style body to manage their own affairs independent of the West & their disfunction. Multipolarity is here!
Veto's dilution indicates a further decline in Western influence worldwide. They can't let go of control after they lost colonies. They'll hold fast to the Veto. Although I'm not aware of Russia's position on Veto, I will include China in the Western club.

@merrick6484Ай бұрын
Don‘t be naive and do some study. China has 14 land border neighbors, only dispute with India on land. Other water disputes are more complicated. Republic of China (Currently in Taiwan) was a founding member of Unted Nation in 1945. R.O.C. claims entired 11 desh lines on South China Sea without international disputes. Only when China becomes Sole Representative of China, all nations around S.C.S. started stealing the islands. Hence, PRC reduced 11 desh lines to 9. R.O.C. (Taiwan) still claims the same 11 desh lines in their constitution unchanged since 1912. Thats much earlier than WW1 and WW2, and even United Nations.

A "World Super Power" is one that can exert it's influence/dominance on the World's stage. For example, USA has the USD as the reserve currency of the world whereas China is the factory of the world and also the largest exporter of trade of the World. Russia, on the other hand, is one of the top 5 oil producing country and also the country with the largest number of nuclear arsenal. In addition, Russia also happens to be largest country of the world in terms of land mass and also one of the largest resources rich country. Take a look at how big the size of Russia on the map? What about India? 1) World Super Super Power , India , wanted to pay cheap and heavily discounted Russian oil in Rupees to take advantage of the Ukraine's crisis/war but was ordered to pay in Chinese Yuan instead. 2) World Super Super Power , India , objects to BRICS expansion but everyone in BRICS ignored India's demand and went ahead and expanded BRICS (refer to BRICS Summit) 3) World Super Super Power , India , said that they are "Global leader of technology". However, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has said that India's attempt to develop an artificial intelligence tool like ChatGPT is "hopeless" and that is why Sam Altman over the weekend called for enhanced collaboration between the U.S. and China on artificial intelligence development? Is Sam Altman, the inventor of ChatGPT, belittling India and praising China? Fun fact 1: OpenAI's Sam Altman Makes Global Call For AI Regulation-And Includes China. Contributor. SECURITY COUNCIL : CHANGING POWER REALITIES AND NOTIONS OF SECURITY Author: Manoj Kumar Mishra (Indian) What article said specifically: India has been bidding for the permanent membership of the United Nations Security Council since 1994 when India made its intention clear in the General Assembly that it was prepared to bear the responsibility of the permanent membership of the Security Council

PRC was no in the UN until 1971, we were just fine without it, in 1950, we were not in the UN, and then UN formed 16 countries formed UN force to fight in Korea war, PRC was not in the UN, but send its army to fight the UN force, in 3 months, kicked all UN force lead by the US army from border to China totally back to the south of 38th Parallel line. so without UN, China was fine. The UN and the UNSC are in urgent need of reform to better align with the realities of the current global landscape. Many countries are vying for membership in the UNSC, but the motivations behind these requests are often questioned. Are these nations seeking membership to promote their own geopolitical and national interests, becoming self-centered or "vassal" states, or are they genuinely aiming to serve the collective interests of the international community? The positions of nations on issues in UNSC and global stage have been observed. Being having high population ( e.g India), geographical representation ( Africa and South America), economy power( e.g. Germany, Japan) will not change and may increase from 5 to 10 hyena
