i just don't like how he doesn't acknowledge that republicans have been historically anti-war up until Bush in 2005, seems like rewriting history but nonetheless the office is controlled by covert intelligence agencies and their hyper secretive specialized departments. They killed JFK and setup Nixon. Both who were Americans. Nixon even started the EPA! No doubt both main coalitions in the DNC and GOP have been taken over. Historically it has been the GOP and a small coalition of DNC members standing up against daddy warbucks. But until very recently, when we were "attacked". I just don't like how he portrays that democrats were historically anti-war. Which is why they portray the GOP as the SOLE warmonger profiteers. When it really is just obfuscation and deflection at hand. They are both bad and not voted for. No matter how much you all believe that. That wasn't always the case. But it is clear to atleast half the nation and many of those people typically vote democrat.

not only? the u.s also has a racist background, that's been consistent, but fluctuated. even some of the soldiers writing racist messages on the very missiles, fired at targets in others countries. this must provide a mental enabler, in some, up to relatively many cases..

May the Lord Bless your Soul, Dennis. The quality of the people in charge of the U.S. Gov't is 💩. Hopefully, the American people will find the courage to reform their political and economic system. Because it's unsustainable.
@justgivemethetruth Жыл бұрын
Even Kucinich and Hedges have to make a living. They give speeches and write books, and get interviewed, but they don't really challenge the system in real constructively critical ways that can lead to political change. A lot of people have the courage to reform, they just don't have the brains or understanding, and I am not sure either of Kucinich or Hedges does anything to change that. They just tell their "customers" what they want to hear, and in turn their customers give them money for making them feel hopeful. Meanwhile things that might possibly lead to more democratic change - like perhaps Twitter, are bought up and rendered useless when they show a possiblity of bringing about change, or even getting information or ideas out there. I am sure global oligarchs all over the world are cheering Elon Musk's work and destroying Twitter, and under the absurd rubrick of free speech. No wonder the Left never gets anywhere and the oligarchs fear them and want to disempower them. Not saying this is right or optimal, just that it should be discussed openly and analyzed and a strategy openly arrived at to bring about change that helps people.

Thank you Chris Hedges for staying true to your position of rational sense. "There isn't that much of a difference between the two parties... when it comes to (financing) war..." Yes, the Dems and the Reps are two wings of the same "unclean and hateful bird". Revelation 18:2. Kucinich has really become objective in his post political career not withstanding that he did stand consistently for principle in congress. Really appreciate this interview. The truth is coming out. Thanks.

I met this extraordinary man at the agape spiritual center when he was running and started campaigning for him the next day. He’s right, we are all one, and if we embrace that ideology, we could save the world and everyone in it. This is not woo woo hippie shit. ❤

I'm a hippy and you're repeating the slander about us that successfully prevented people from listening to us. The government and the media certainly didn't want anyone else to be convinced by us! Now what we said is popular, but you STILL can't have it connected to anything we said.

I regret to this day that there was never an option to vote for a Presidential ticket of either Dennis Kucinich/Ron Paul or Ron Paul/Dennis Kucinich (they could have flipped a silver dollar to decide which of them would be POTUS first). That ticket would have cleaned up and America would have moved in a far wiser direction.

@@audries5048 Yes there is, look at what China is doing. They are building all the tech of the future. The US has squandered their lead because of the defense industry. The US has a lot of technology and strategy to destroy humanity. It does not have much technology or strategy to unite people and progress humanity. We have reached a turning point where the US's investment is coming back to bite them. Now China has become the world leader. We are going to see from this point advancements from Chinese technology that outpace the US. I pray that the US takes the same road as the British Empire and befriend China. We do not need the US defense industry to turn into a divided mercenary for hire force like what happened with the Soviet Union. If it happens in the same manner, it would be very destructive for the planet as the kind of weaponry the US have is way more advanced than anything the Soviets had.

I always like Dennis. I'm a veteran with multiple disabilities. Most of my acquaintances made fun of him. When you tell the truth, they often make fun of you in the military. I eventually discovered our expensive military is unconstitutional. I thought my oath to the constitution meant something. It took a head injury before I could see things better and evaluate them compared to my stated and claimed values. If you support the US Constitution you can't really support the military industrial complex without being a hypocrite.
