An interesting sidelight about Visine. Back in the 60's we would have Visine Parties. Fun fact. Repeated and over use of eye drops to “get the red out” is a really bad idea. They knew that no testing is done on ANY bodies for tetrahydrozyline. They KNEW that. It was only an observant detective who spotted visible in the room, who realized the whole thing looked fishy a to why she'd let him lay around pissing the bed he was so sick, that led to them finding the tetrahydrozyline in nthe 2nd guy's murder, if the wife had never admitted putting those in his water, she'd probably be free today. We tend to think they'll catch anyone if they poison someone but no, they miss a lot of those cases because coroner's don't test for all the different things that someone can poison you with, they only run tests for what they suspect might be there. The tests are very expensive so they don't routinely test for everything, or many things at all. It's pretty scary when you realize that. So many nursing home deaths, deaths of the critically ill, the elderly and handicapped people, even the deaths of many children who may have appeared to have died from some other causes, like drowning or some type of accident, likely were due to poisons or suffocation but bless the work is done correctly, unless someone takes the time & expense to test enough things then no one will ever know.

No one should use Visine, it's awful for your eyes. The active ingredients in Visine cause retinal blood vessels to physically shrink. After prolonged use those blood vessels can permanently enlarge, causing your red eye to look even worse. This is called rebound hyperemia, or rebound effect. Your eyes can become addicted to these drops. It is a vicious cycle of using your drops, worsening your red eye symptoms all the time.

I remember hearing some kids talking about using it to make somebody poop their pants as a prank. Diarrhea is NOT a common symptom of tetrahydrozoline poisoning. It's not just a prank.

I’ve never heard of such a thing before lol. Only fake lashes you put on and off for a day’s use. How long do they last? You’re entire job is eyelash extending?

@@anti-ethniccleansing465 yes, there are semi-permanent lash extensions done by gluing individual lashes to your natural ones, which can last for weeks.

@@w.k.astrolabe280Ehhh. Teenagers are stupid and "visine causes explosive diarrhea" is an old urban legend that's been told for years. Kid could have easily thought he was just going to embarrass her and nothing more. So I don't know if the intent was there but I hope he was punished severely. Tampering with people's food is behavior that needs to be stamped out immediately.
