How They Actually AMPED Batman! | How Powerful is Arkham Batman? [UPDATE]

In this video I will be analyzing the feats and statements performed in the new "KiII the Justice League" video game to determine how much more powerful the Arkhamverse Batman has become since the Arkham Trilogy. Is he sub-Captain Boomerang level fodder, or vengeance and darkness personified?

Batman: Arkham (also commonly known by the fan-originated term Arkhamverse) is a series of action-adventure video games based on the DC Comics character Batman, developed by Rocksteady Studios and WB Games Montréal, and published by Warner Bros. In her Arkham City DLC she manages to capture Batman and coulda killed him at any time and she managed to beat the shit out of Nightwing in her Arkham Knight DLC. Comic book stories always have inconsistencies when it comes to power level or “Vs” matchups.

That biggest part at the end where you said Bats was holding back is usually the thing that people don't think about in a lot of instances. In tons of different games/shows/movies/etc. people will always watch the fight and they'll "listen" to the dialogue but never try to understand it. Paul Dini wrote Arkham Asylum himself. Martin Lancaster, Sefton Hill, and Ian Ball are the only recurring writers who wrote Suicide Squad KTJL. Mind you, all 3 of these writers wrote Arkham Knight which wasn't great and Sefton Hill was the only one from Arkham City. Can you please do an in-depth video as to how Cap and Buckey were able to beat Iron Man in Civil War? Honestly, there might be an issue with the Flash segment and how you say it's a feat he survived a fight with Green Lantern. It could be argued that Green Lantern was holding back because he was talking about wanting to bring him back to the skull ship, which is consistent with Batman keeping Flash alive. So I don't think Flash is capable of handling Green Lantern's full power if he was holding back and still beat Flash

Or just accept that regardless of circumstances. The squad won because they aren't facing competently bloodlusted versions of the Justice League. We just had this man describe how they were able to dodge Superman's lasers, and that they receive incredible enhancements throughout the game. The problem isn't that Batman was defeated, it's that the dialogue Harley gave him was basically spitting in the guys face. And I can understand that But not wanting another Arkham Coppout

My personal canon is that this game is a dream Batman had as all the fear toxin was still working it’s way out of his system. The first time he slept after the events of Arkham knight is when this game takes place. Showing him the worst case scenario of possibilities.

While I have not played suicide squad, where it is fair, i do think it is disingenuous to say harley isnt capable. People underestimate her, both in universe and even irl, but thats kind of her thiing. Shes originally a lacky of joker, who held her back, but its alluded to multiple times that shes possibly as capable as joker himself. This is even said in arkham knight where harley becomes an actual threat and joker in batmans mind says something along the lines of "wow she did all of this! (taking over the movie studios) she could never do anything like this before. its almost something was holding her back" which obviously alludes to joker holding harley back. Not to mention this video even poitnts out that after joker's death in Arkham city, in the harley quinn dlc, Harley's first outing got batman captured. In arkham knight she was able to beat nightwing who is bassicly batman's equal. And in the main campaign is said to be more dangerous than ever. Like a lot of arkham batman's story, the characters do have arcs, they're just really subtle. In any case, for harley specificlly, i think it does make sense that she would stay dangerous, and even more dangerous from being locked up and probably just imagining ways to kill batman in arkham over 5 years kinda like what frieza did in hell

Green Lantern would be making his constructs as tough as possible when fighting Flash, who's armor can withstand cracking apart giant Lantern constructs, and Batman would be wearing the same armor. So Batman would be able to be armored against forces comparable to a nuke, then he's amped massively by Brainiac.
