Some suggestions for the video: It was slightly "draggy" at the start, can explore reducing the intro and go straight into the investment insights.

At my age I will not invest in US. The country is bankrupt basically. Neither do I want to pay tax to a govt that supports genocide. I'm happy with SG stocks. They may not give you the best capital gains, but they're still pretty good if you go for blue chips. And they're safe. Dividends are great too.

You still can invest in Malaysia only and take advantage on forex. Invest in companies that export for USD.

Market sentiments in Malaysian market may probably diminish your returns

your MYR that you use to invest would still be depreciating though. Companies don't pass on forex gains to investors.

@@gavincyy Market sentiment is bad every where outside US. Take the advantage to buy good companies at the cheap. Sentiment is more negative for HK and China market. ASEAN market could easily recover faster than HK and CHina. Especially if Trump wins the election.

@@thespacejedi Being a Malaysian using Ringgit to buy Malaysian stock has no forex effect on me. Companies that sell to US and receive better exchange rate means the company net profit increase. Of course it pass on to me as an investor. MYR is not depreciating when using to buy these companies. Malaysia inflation is at 1.8%. The earnings is yielding 5-6% ... My investment is well protected. And this is not counting the capital gain I had so far. Singapore inflation (2.7%) rise and fall according to US inflation. Singapore is as risky as US because their monetary policy is joined at the hip. Singapore debt to GDP is 168% while US is 129%. Both countries are showing inverted yield curves. Only reason Sing$ is up is bcoz Singapore has swap facilty with US FED. Singapore print money to exchange for USD easily. Nothing productive. USD rises, Sing$ rise in tandem. US market crash. Singapore will feel the brunt even more being a small nation.

@@thespacejedi Im a Malaysian using MYR to buy Malaysian companies. There's no forex exposure. Companies that export for USD will see their net profit increase due to favourable exchange rate. As an investor, I am in the advantage. How is that depreciating? The earning yield is 5-6% while Msian inflation is low of 1.8%. And that has not include the capital gain I got for the pass 3 years. Singapore inflation (2.7%) is high. S'pore inflation rise and fall in tandem with US inflation. Singapore debt to GDP is 168% while US is 129%. And both countries have inverted yield curves in the government bonds. Now how is that? Becoz Singapore has swap facility with US FED. They can exchange Sing$ for USD. USD rises and so will Sing$. That's printing money and non productive. If US market crash, Singapore will feel the brunt of it being a small nation.

Hi Mark, you can consider FSMOne.

@@TheFifthPersonChannel thank u, but is it safe/reliable. It won't suddenly disappear together with all the deposited money? Since it's not a physical bank like what we use in Malaysia: UOB KH, HLB, AmEquities.
