Okay, off topic but a story that should have been covered so much more in the 90s and there is a indie movie about it called Bomb City. Look into the death of Brian Denake from Amarillo Texas. Its a story about punks V.S jocks. A pedo millionaire who made Cadillac Ranch and Brian worked for. He was ran over by a jock who got hardly any punishment. Its a crazy story! On the question about assessing the patient outside vs in the ambulance: It depends on the situation and jurisdiction but yes, that is normal. It can be really quick - are they talking, do they know what's going on, are they walking, etc. If the patient isn't moving, it might be more harm to move them until you have an idea of the scene and injuries. Does the patient want to be transported? They can decline. They can also decline assessment. It all depends on the paitent and the scene.

RN (Canadian) here - to answer your medical question. It depends on the immediate status of the injured party. They have to partake in a few on-scene assessments such as vitals, bleeding (applying pressure and dressings/though this can also be done in the ambulance), checking level of consciousness and mobility. Although they're in the rain, depending on the injury moving him too early can risk further injury (ie neck injury). Based on the video, I'm, assuming they're checking for signs of concussion based on the head injury of the gentleman bleeding and are determining whether he requires further medical attention at the hospital. While ideally this should be done out of the rain and inside the ambulance, if a neck injury is possible they might be considering neck brace- but then again because of the quality of the video (video is more focused on Jack trying to make money) its hard to be precise.

One thing I think you didn't touch on (although I did skip through parts of this) is the current lawsuit where a private citizen was at a party that Jack happened to also be at where Jack tried to instigate a fight and then got his bodyguard to assault him unprovoked. Trapped in traffic at a stop light, he came up to my passenger side and punched my mirror off. He had friends with him in a car recording him, and also me. This is a pandemic everywhere. $500 out of my pocket to get a new mirror. My deductible is $500, so if I go through my insurance to fix it, I still have to pay $500 and have my insurance rate go up. The disbatcher for 9-1-1 said it seemed like I was having a bad day and the cops can't do anything. Thanks! I was also punched in for my job, which is transporting children, and had to lose out on work because I was scared out of my mind. Thank God I hadn't picked up my passenger, yet. This is outrageous and nothing is being done, because what can the cops do? They weren't around to see it. Kids like this don't care who they hurt, they want the attention.

13:27 The fact he is not wearing a helmet is really angering me. (Granted I don’t know Jack apart from this documentary.) Long story short about my brother, 8 years ago, my brother was in a terrible motorbike accident. (No one else was hurt because he crashed into a tree.) He sustained serious injuries but the saving grace was unlike Jake, My brother was wearing all of the correct motorbike gear, including his helmet. (Though first responders had cut his helmet off which they should not have done unless the helmet obstructed his airway due to potentially damaging the spine) because the police accused my brother of not wearing his helmet. While my brother did end up with an acquired brain injury and a brachial plexus injury. Specifically Erb’s Palsy (nerve damage that severed the connection that sent signals from the spinal cord to his left shoulder.) Where I live, especially the state I live in, you can be fined for not wearing a bike helmet, let alone a motorbike helmet. Sorry I get angry when I see people do that because of what my brother went through, my brother was in a coma for months and the only reasons he is alive today is because of the gear my brother was wearing at the time.

For the actual accident at 31:30, where you ask about do the medics actually check people outside the ambulance. It depends on the situation, county, and state you're in sometimes. Im currently studying for the fire academy so my knowledge is limited but I do security and in WA I've had to call for fire and medical a ton. Most of the quick triage I've seen or had done ( after a close call with a fentynal exposure(i tried 😅😅) ) was outside the ambulance or just sitting on the edge of the truck. For more serious crashes they get pulled into the ambulance and then triaged.

He acts like an addict....addicted to fame money content and attention. It is interesting to see how similar he is to a drug addict.

I was a paramedic for many years. I like to get people out of the rain. Going inside the ambulance, in my state, is totally normal. You do not have to take the ambulance to the hospital.

He’s made his lack of morals be centre stage 34:50 That father is just an enabler there’s a lesson for everyone specially those who follow him

Omg the difference between his mom's reaction and his dad's after the crash is just so telling. "Don't you ever do that again" vs "whatever haters, it's not even that serious!" Unbelievable.

I just love how Doctor Phil's talking to him, like he's not doing the exact same thing. Having someone outrageous on his television program to make money

I just got the merch because I just learned some upset family news that connects with some of your past. You’ve helped me so much and I’ve been so depressed so seeing your video and then seeing you dropped new merch. It made me smile. Thank you for being you!!! ❤

How was he not charged for that accident? How did get legally get away with harassment of a private citizen, and, public menace charges? His development into adulthood has been stunted due to his addiction to making content and money. Please do a part two on trafficking young women and making money from that…also, do his parents work? Just curious if he is the sole income earner?? Thanks Swoop ❤

"lots of things going on" is a mouthful & I would love to hear your thoughts. Also understood if you don't want to get into that - but can we hope to have a deep dive re: Diddy? I feel your perspectives could be beneficial to all - but especially us SA survivors.

As far as care on scene goes the most direct answer is 'it depends'. Depends on the patient, the crew, weather conditions, ECT. If it were me, put your camera away or be removed from my scene. There are so many HIPPA violations involved with recording.

Why do the ones that cause crashes (drunk/distracted/raging drivers) always walk away unscathed, while the innocent people they hit end up with the consequences?

My thing about the crash is that he wasn’t just texting and driving, that’s just the cherry on top. he was driving 70 miles an hour “torrential downpour” as he put it. No wonder he hydroplaned. If the freeway speed is around 60 you’re supposed to drive 40-50 during the rain. He fucked himself over and so many levels.
@auberginebear7 сағат бұрын
He likely wasn’t texting, he was more likely reading his Kick chat, based on how he was holding the phone.

If it helps your conscience Swoop, I'm benefiting from you making this video. I've heard this kid's name before but had not the faintest grasp of who he was or what he was about beyond 'some youtube guy.' I now feel informed. And a little disgusted. But at least I didn't need to favor him with attention to learn.

Flight Nurse/medic here- normally an initial assessment is done ASAP. Once it is determined the patient can be safely moved, we head to the ambulance. Just because the patient is standing up and talking, doesn’t mean it’s appropriate to move them. Additional things like applying a tourniquet needs to be done is seconds. So all this to say, it is appropriate to do the initial assessment to be done as soon as you set eyes on the patient.

You know he did this shit on purpose. He's a terrible actor, and has no clue how bad that could have been. That was a crappy set up situation, and SOOOOO obviously what he was trying to do as the whole purpose of the video. It's like the guy who crashed his little puddlehopper plane? He's a dumbass and absolutely going to be investigated; influencers can be the bane of existence.

I love the new Suspool apparel, Swoop! I’m so excited! You know, what killed me the most about this kid was his dad sitting there lying for his son about the accident. Not only was this kid on his phone while he was driving in the pouring rain, but he was also speeding (and he tried to lie about it, although they caught it on film before the crash), and he gave no fvcks about the other person that got hurt in the wreck. I hope the cameraman ends up suing him....ugh...

I'm an EMT. If I had a patient from a crash with a head injury (I'm assuming a cut based on description), I would try to get them into the ambulance. Important to note, we can't force anyone into the ambulance if they're alert and oriented. If he didn't want to go, that might be why he's still out on the street.

My father DIED November 11, 2015, because a girl was texting and driving. He was put into a coma because his body was so incredibly injured. He was unconscious for just over 2 weeks, then passed away. The girl crashed into him, and my mother as they were making a left turn. She was texting and rocketed into the intersection. Blowing through a red light. We were supposed to be celebrating my 40th birthday the coming weekend. I never celebrated my birthday again. His parents are morons. He will definitely end up killing someone, but he's obviously a narcissist. If he doesn't end up in prison, I'll be shocked. With Peace and Love

OMG NEW MERCH, YAY!! I was SO scared you were going to discontinue the ribcage design before I had a chance to purchase one. Things have been rough and I've been so strapped for cash lately, but I've been wanting to grab a Valid ribcage hoodie before they're all gone for so long now. At least there's hope that I'll get to a point where I can afford to snag a hoodie, and hopefully a pair of those awesome new Suspool Joggers before they're discontinued! Thank you for holding on to that design for a bit longer!! 🫶🙏🏻❤❤❤

I remember watching him on Dr. Phil and I thought then he was going too far with his so-called pranks, and clearly, he has gone further with it . All he cares about is filming and putting people in danger doesn't matter to him.
