Kinook Da Druid It has everything in common with a car, Chassis, wheels, engine, windscreen, and a steering wheel along with pedals. Exactly like a car, the engine is just a bit different. It's like saying that a electric car isn't a car, because it doesn't use an internal combustion engine, if anything, a jet engine is more like a standard car engine, because it is a 4 stroke system, unlike an electric car. Everything about your statement is incorrect!

Wrong measurement, since it is using a jet engine you measure the thrust in ft lb's. But it's fuel pump is a race bread 800 BHP motor, which kind of puts into scale the forces at work in the Bloodhound car.
@benbryan79496 жыл бұрын
James Lewis no. Thrust is measured in lb..... torque is measured in ft/lb.

This is just a land-speed record by a rocket automobile. A 'car' is defined as "a road vehicle typically with four wheels." The key phrase is road vehicle, meaning you can legally drive it on the road. The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport currently holds the Guinness World Record title at 431.072 km/h (267.856 mph). I know ... picking nits.
