Can you make a how to for jumping bigger gaps and drops? I haven’t seen any videos like it so it would be a good tutorial and would be helpful if you could talk about the approach and landing especially. I’m sure you have some pretty gnarly old videos that you could show.

I've been bmxing for months and still can't hit a flat 180. I struggle keeping my speed on the fakie and I'm not going fast enough to keep myself up for long enough to roll out
@sssj8063 жыл бұрын
@@MXLVII that's the problem, 180ing a bike isn't difficult, it's riding out the landing

@@sssj806 any tips on mastering it?

@@MXLVII my problem was not jumping high enough and or not doing a proper bunny hop when going for 180. Gotta commit to the hop and start sending it and you will get better and gain more control over time

I have the rotation, I can even air vert quarters now. I have the fakie and roll out. But for whatever reason when it comes to flat I never can just commit to the speed I need. I end up doing it almost stopped and not having the momentum to fakie out. Is there anything I could maybe try to get passed this stupid mental block I have. If you or anyone has any advice I would much appreciate it. Thanks

if you’re at a park or on the side walk , look at a line where you absolutely have to do the 180 and just fully commit, it’s helps me to think “it’s just a 180, even if i fall it’s not gonna hurt in five minutes “

Looking forward to trying this out at the weekend! One thing I would say for future videos, maybe make the timer a bit smaller, like just a small digital timer in the corner, I found this big one took my focus away from the action

Can you do one on t-bogs or seat grabs, Ive been having trouble with them. I have no problem taking hands off when im leaning fowards (tiregrab, tuck-no, barspin) but i cant seem to do it leaning back like you would in a t-bog or seatgrab. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Mike u have to tell people that ride cassettes that there pedaling backwards depends on what hub they ride like me I have a odyssey C5 cassette and with the 3 pawls I have a sort of coaster affect so I never have to pedal out now a profile has 6 pawls in that case u have to pedal as soon as u 180 and land just a tip and brakeless 180s are way more different then a brake just saying been on a bmx for 19 year’s

I said previously in my last BMX short how to video. I condense it into a short fast how to video for the large amount of people that want to get information quickly instead of sitting through a very detailed video. I get a lot of the major points of the how to across in the short form videos as well. The timer on there to not just have the audience be engaged but myself in the fact of me getting as much as much crucial information out in the time I’ve set.
