Like your video! Increased my confidence for taking on this task. I have a Honda Fit 2012 with P0303 Misfire issue. It looks easy and straight in your video but I had some adjusting bicycle axel experiences before, which seemed to be a very subtle one, may not be easy for a green hand.

@Jay Yoyo there was a sound the car would make on cold starts, in addition to buying the car with mileage and no record of having valve adjustment prior. So symptoms really. Just got myself an 08 Fit Sport a few hours ago. 110k miles, manual, $5,700 :D (Would've preferred a 2nd gen, but for that mileage, most in my area were asking over 10 grand for similar conditions. 8 grand for very bleh options) Engine is *very* talkative. This will be something I'll be doing in a near weekend. I've done an adjustment on my Accord once before, so I'm comfortable doing a Fit ^-^ Besides needing at least 2 new TPMS sensors, there was no trouble driving it 80 miles home ^-^ Top and bottom of the engine and transmission were bone dry. Coolant bright Honda blue, and other fluids were good colors too. If I'm not busy tomorrow after church, I'm doing an oil change, and plan to do them every 3-5k miles. MTF change next weekend, when the fluid comes in. Plan to do those every 15-25k miles. (2ish years) It's not cosmetically perfect of course, but mechanically it seems sound as heak. Will do a compression test when I change the plugs, to get an idea of the true health of the engine.

Good to know, thanks! I'll also try replacing the PCV valve while the intake manifold is off, as it doesn't click when the PCV hose is pinched off. Engine runs a little rich and has an (injector?) tick, and hesitates sometimes under load at low RPM, but no codes thrown. I'll be replacing plugs and coils ASAP too. Glad to find your channel!

Hey there! Just used your video to do my own valve adjustment on my ‘08 Fit; thanks for the great resource! You made it a much easier process. I’m curious though - The reason that I started the process is because of a check engine light showing a second valve misfire. Went ahead and replace spark plugs and coils while doing the valve adjustment, and the check engine light is still on for a second valve misfire. Do you have any ideas about what could be causing it? It was my first time adjusting the valves like that, but I feel fairly confident that I did it correctly based on watching you.

I just bought this car and it’s freaking awesome. I only have one issue with it right now. When I cold start the car and put it in gear it immediately dies.
