Good video on this subject, too bad is not on the idler pulley right above the tensioner . Have you ever dealt with the idler pulley? I've tried to find any information on it ,can't find any thing related to the idler pulley. If any of you you tubers know any thing on it , please let me know. I haven't had a chance to study the steps, but it looks kind of tough. If any one knows ,do you need to drop the engine or raise it, to get to the bolt, Or can you access it thru those holes on the wall?Just give some hint on this .Thanks.

My friends Nissan rogue is being driven off of a skinner drivebelt than it needs. Courtesy of previous owner. You can see the belt doesn’t cover the entire width of any of the pullies. People don’t think before they do things. They just do em.

Never put your fingers in between the belt and a pulley. In case the ratchet slips, your fingers will be gone. Also never spin the tensioner the wrong way or else you must replace it.

I recently found out that there had been work done on the vehicle where they installed a new ac compressor, after inspection the pulleys appear to be out of alignment.
