Seems like the Ariel Atom to me,. Can't wait to see it finished then, thank you so much for sharing Tom, wish I could afford one of these printers one day, they look really helpful.

I have a FDM printer now and have made a few parts for my models , some things I can’t print with it, it’s just too difficult so I ordered a resin printer, should be here in a few days. Your video was very interesting and informative, thanks for sharing.

So far Tom, which has been your favorite printer with the best results with the least hassle? I trust your opinion as you’ve tested so many. Thanks, James

All the Resin 3d printers that i have tested and shown on the channel so far have worked fine with not much hassle. The Creality one i tested most recently was a good printer. The software/slicer they have you use simply sucks. I would suggest going for a Mono screen printer(those print 2 or 3 times faster than non Mono). Anycubic and Elegoo are both trusted brands in the industry. But do have a difference in price which can be seen back in the actual material used to build the printers

Also something to add. If prints fail. 9 out of 10 Times it not the printer. Its the user setting up the file/supports/settings incorrectly😋🤭

@@TheScalemodelingChannel Thank you so much Tom for your advice. I see so many people printing beautiful parts and even though I won’t design anything it is way cheaper to buy files than finished parts. Thanks again, James

Can you re-use the resin that's left over after you've finished printing?

Neat. I like the Ariel Atom or is that the nomad or whatever the off_roader is called? According to some minipainters and terrain builders you can cure the resin stuff so that it is cured but about 99%. It remains cured so, but is flexible a little. This way if you drop them they do not break as easy as fully cured can be brittle.

Sorry, can’t share those files. Make sure the print bed is propperly leveled to the instructions from the manufacturer. Use the leveling paper and make sure it is done right. If it still does not work, contact support.

Get a plastic razor blade & holder for removal. Best thing & no worries about bodily harm.
@TheScalemodelingChannel
@TheScalemodelingChannel 3 жыл бұрын
They also come with plastic scrapers. Though prints get stuck on the plate sometimes. And those plastic ones dent, bend and or simple don’t have enough strength sometimes(from my personal experience)
@haldirhellion

@@TheScalemodelingChannel (not sure if my reply posted) Get an actual plastic razor blade. They come in a box of 100. They look like metal double sided razor blades. They are usually orange in color & come with a screw down holder. They easily get under prints on the build plate & very little damage to the pieces or plate itself. I started our with the plastic scraper but like you said doesn't really do much. I'll use it after the plastic blades if the piece is larger. I print mostly gaming miniatures on my Phrozen 4k mini.

Just an FYI, water washable is not any safer to use than regular resin. It's just as toxic, and definitely not any better for the environment. If you use water to wash it, it has to be disposed of at a hazardous material waste facility or evaporated. The marketing for these sometimes makes it seem like you can just wash it in your sink which is definitely not okay.

So here's my question. My stepdad owns the longest factory production line vehicle ever made. Can you make me a model say 1:12 or 1:24 scale. The Car is stone cold ugly so they never made any reminders. Being the car is almost 50 with less than 12k miles on it amodel would be killer please send me a price and what I need to do to get you the specs
