Hi I've had a quick look. What you need to do is pull the strap up and unhook the ring from where it hooks at the top under the relay block. Unhooking is relatively easy but hooking it back can be fiddly as you have to stretch the strap to create sufficient slack and get the loop over the hook. It's trick because it's hard to see the hook. I'll do a battery removal video so you can see what I mean, but unlikely to get to that today, but tomorrow is looking free.👍

I've got a power hub that I want to install somewhere out of the way on my bike when it arrives. Are there any obvious spaces where I could fit it do you know?

Hey Terry……I had a nightmare with my cover…..the side ones I just could not pop out….in the end I sort of unscrewed them…..I plan to use Velcro to fit it back….though in a round about way I have the cover back….I put the battery cable down at the bottom of the cover, by leaving off the bottom screw thing…….no idea why I had such a hassle…..maybe I am just rubbish at these things, I’ll stick to making music hehe….footnote, all works really well, getting a battery charger trickle one is a must…..thinking next I might get a tire pressure monitor fitted on the handlebar…. Cheers

I think it comes down to having something that locates centrally on the plastic pins, hence the pen lid. Tire monitor is interesting I got ones for car that replace the tyre valve caps. They did work, but you needed a little spanner to take them off to put air in. Eventually they didn't seal and started to lose tyre pressure as the depress the valve to read the pressure. So I took them off. If you would like them to give them a go. Let me know and I'll send them to you. A freebie.

Hi Terry, I’ve just assembled my trickle charger to the battery. But I have struggled to find an exit for the plug 🤦🏻 If you find somewhere for your Optimate plug to exit, please upload a video of it 🙏🏻 I left the plug, in the battery compartment and put the lid back on. Cheers 😊

Hi haven't go an optimate but can you not fit the cover back over the top of the lead - so connector is in the frunk. not ideal. I'll be looking at installing the wiring for the sat nav at the weekend and will see if I can come up with a suitable route for you. leave it with me for a few days.

You might need to not put in the bottom pin. I think there's a better route so the connector will sit under the rear seat, but need to check it out. I'll share my thoughts and options once I had a proper look.

If you look either side of your battery you will see holes in the bottom of the frunk in the rear corners. I ran my scottoiler feed through them. They are both different sizes so you should get your optimate lead through although you may have to open fuse holder on the lead to do so. I accessed these by removing middle side panel. 2 push pins at top and it pulls off.
