@@alejandrollermanos6070yeah, makes sense. Install Windows that feels like an Mac Os from over 10 years ago to use a synth from 2010. Not gonna happen, I'd rather buy a modern synth with proper customer support. As a Windows user ... have you tried to find technical specifications for the TI2 or a MIDI CC implementation chart? Even for someone used to a bad user experience, this should not be the norm.

Nice Arnold! is there a way to push the ti2 out to an angle? i have allmost the same rack like you have... but its allmost sitting to flat... just want to slide the bottom out to a degree so its better to handle

Unfortunately I don't see a way to adjust in that way. You might be able to make something to sit betweek the ears and the rack rails, or get an angled rack to put it in maybe.

Why did you put it in the rack vs. desk? Just a space issue for less used items?

Yo Dos Gos! Great question man! Space issues for sure, but also the rack I show at the end of the vid houses a mixer, a Slim Phatty, the Virus, 2 PC's and a few other bits of gear for my "Live Rig" that I've been working on forever. I've been trying to figure out what I need to make some magic happen on stage without just playing back tracks and is a huge goal I have for myself. The Virus I added because it's very powerful with it's 16 part multitimbrality and massive polyphony, with it's "Total Integration" VST I literally don't have to touch the front panel and can work within the VST so no need to have it in front of me like I do with almost every other synth I own. That makes it very nice to slide into productions as well and having it in a rack far away from me is no biggie :)

Hi great video. I have the TI1 and want to rack mount it. Do you know if its the same build and this can be used for the TI1 also? The TI1 has the holes on the back, because the rack ears made for it was only screwed on the side. Do you know if it possible?

Hi, iirc i think the ti1 you screw the rack years to the sides, and also with older models. Does it have wooden cheeks?

I bought the TI2 rack mount kit from Sweetwater. In that description, it very clearly said that the rack mount kit would not work with TI1, only TI2. I assume there might be another kit for TI1? It was $40 US

This is very bad! It ends up taking up 5 rack units due to the weird way it fits into the rack. It uses the bottom row of screws from the top slot and the top row of screws from the bottom slot, leaving space above and below the device. I never liked that. One unit is missing! I had to drill new holes.

@@FailingWings1 The holes in the original brackets are made in such a way that when installed they take up 5 units. It turns out that everything is shifted by an extra half-unit. I had to drill new holes in my rack to fit the Virus into 4 units. It would have been possible to make holes in the brackets, but the appearance would have been ruined. Но это не большая проблема.
