the Public IP @ 4:32 changes every time or daily if you restart your Router.. this happens with all normal Home connections of Shared Internet Connection. But if you have Dedicated Internet Connection your IP remains the same till your subscription or unless you request for.

Maybe to late but if you open cmd and type ipconfig the default gateway should be your routers ip the one site may have giving you your IP address the router gave you

@@rafaeljesus7596 I'd guess that you are using a VPN if that's the case. I don't use this exact setup but I'm going to assume you need to be using the same IP address.

With a vpn you then will need to run both devices on the same IP address so it can be tricky or pointless if you can't or don't want to run to run both from the same IP... especially since it kind of defeats the purpose since you're easily traced if you always use the same IPs

1. You're going to need internet seeing as it's still being broadcasted through the router. & 2. I wouldn't advise it for gaming anyway. It may be quite responsive depending on your internet speed but it's still far from zero latency.

The speed offered to me by my internet service provider is 20 mbps but I connected this way with 300mbps speed, if it was on the internet as you said, it would not be like this.

Maximum option in remote desktops is Wake on LAN. Mean your target computer should be on standy by mode and the Remote Desktop can wake it up.

this method only works if your public IP is static. If it's dynamic as most are, then it will only work until the IP address changes!

Yeah and for that reason it defeats the purpose of a vpn...especially since you're actively giving either Google or Windows full availability of your entire computer(not that they don't already have that)
