i’m glad I found this. Because even if I did “enjoy" math, there is no way that I would’ve done this formula by myself. Even if I had, I wouldn’t remember it or remember to use it.

before I can even finish this… I just have to let you know, that you’ve given every ADHD/neurodivergent/dopamine chasers/ANYONE addicted to journals an excuse to pull out one of the 15 to 500 unused journals or notebooks that they have and FINALLY do something with it and for that, I thank you. Because my stack of notebooks was feeling very unloved. but also, because it just makes sense to write this stuff down and at the moment I would not have thought to do that and kept it somewhere where I would be able to go back to it

Very nice videos. I like the way you adequately explain things and you show what you’re doing as well slowly. Very appreciated. I’m a hands on learner so the fact you explain it verbally and also show it help a lot. Thank you. Am I overlooking the links you mentioned??

I’m so glad to hear that! All the links are down in the video description 😊

How do you have your holder. To hold your dowel while you work?

I have it hanging off a clothing rack with 2 "S" hooks.

Does doing rows of alternating square knots work the same as doing a straight row?
@MarchingNorth8 ай бұрын
Doing alternating rows uses up the cord more evenly, since you alternate the filler cords and working cords for each row. You can do a test swatch of like 4 rows alternating square knots, mark the cords under the knots, untie them and measure the longest cord and divide it by 4. That will get a more accurate estimate for alt. square knots. 😊

What happened with the 15” and 5” for spaces and fringe? Would that not be added in? And I guess I am dense but measuring with one larks head distance and there are say 10 cords with 10 larks head knots how would this be accurate? But the rest I do understand and thank you.

High hi have a question. Hope you can help me clear this up. I am trying to figure out the amount of macramé cord. I need for a project in the video she says you need. 26 cords at 4 m I’m calculating 13 feet that seems like a lot of cord for an owl ear. I’m trying to make owl from you tube the lady does not speak English, but she is using closed caption in English so I’m not sure if she’s leaving something out or not I hope you can help me. Thank you so much.

I haven’t done macrame since probably elementary school. I’m trying to do a valance that is asking for a holding cord. I can’t find any info on this. I also need to figure out what length the “holding cord” needs to be. HELP!!!
