Great advice Vince (taking quizzes). This is exactly what my brother and I did earlier this year... eventually. We spent 4-5 months of watching the videos, filling out worksheets, and taking quizzes. We spent about 6-hours per week (2 hrs. on M, W, F) doing this. Eventually I saw we weren't progressing fast enough and switched to just taking the quizzes with no more studying. Just quizzes for 3 weeks straight. We still spent 6-hours per week (2 hrs. on M, W, F) on quizzes. Our quiz scores improved, the online test service showed marked improvement in all areas of the body of knowledge required for PA's. During the last week we took multiple untimed and timed practice exams to simulate the state test. Then we signed up for the state test and took it. We did much better on the actual state test than we did on the PA practice test service exams. Now, we're opening up our PA business in Texas! The place that I have found to work best is insurance-schools.com. there is also Adjuster Pro. I'm not sure if this will help, but you might be able to find a local Public Adjuster Association that can help.

Dont Use Insurance-Schools. Their explinations for wrong answers are usually just restating the question and answer as a statement. Many times saying x is the right answer because it was the only right answer of the 4........ They also make you test and pass with 100 their introduction prior to starting the course wich no one wants to watch and also before you can take a practice exam. 20 questions at the end basically saying if you use up all your test or need an extention, too bad. "Buy our overpriced course again." The actual couse is read by a crappy AI and their course material is all over the palace sometimes not giving you info that is intergral to the State Exam. I just passed my test, but with no help of their prep. Most of their prepe are things not even close to being covered on the test. Dumb questions that are repetative and usually about the same stuff over and over. No real diversity of questions. 90% of the being Except Questions. Had I not been an adjuster that has taken CE courses over the years, I would have failed. STAY AWAY!!!

Wish I would have seen this earlier! I am finishing my course with them and I successfully passed all my quizzes with flying colors. I go to take their Guarantee Test for help if you don't pass the state test and it had material in it that I had never even seen before! Scored a 68, just so they won't have to help after the fact. I go take my State Test Tomorrow so we'll see....wish me luck!

I ended up passing my exam first try with an 85! now I just need to figure out a plan.
