That cat in hat scene had me rolling! I just did this look my last wash day on my long wavy hair! I used the kinky curly curling custard since its super moisturizing and gives a cast. I can also break it for a softer look. I used the leave in plus argan oil before the gel then smoothed a serum over everything once dried. I also styled on soaking wet hair or my waves do look a little stringy with the amount of product I put and I just microplop and hover diffuse the roots and lengths for more of an elongated style.

After watching one of your product reviews, it encouraged me to ask my stylist at Juut about nutri-plenish. I've been very curious about it since it came out but didn't think it was good for curly hair. Now I have the leave-in conditioner and I love it! I use Aveda Be Curly gel and their phomollient. I have the curl prep which I didn't think would do me any good, but I'm gonna try it again. I have Ouidad heat and humidity gel for all curl types (mine has a white label) but I didn't realize it's actually better in humid areas. I rarely use it so now I know to only use it when it's humid in Minnesota.

Mel, I have a product that I would like you and your seester try out for us wavy and curly girls. It is an all natural shampoo bar and conditioner bar from a company called “Earthling” It claims that it moisturizes and eliminates frizz. I am tempted to try them , but hesitant because I have thick wavy/ curly hair and don’t know if a shampoo bar could really give is curly girls a good hair day. I would love to see a try and review!

Would people recommend using a diffuser for my wavy/curly hair because my curls always look so good when it is wet/damp after using products but then once i air dry the front sections go straight and I only have the curls at the bottom/underneath.

Hey Mel. I have a question please. I recently had a big chop because I went through a phase do straightening my hair last year which I totally regret. Now my hair is shorter which I know will take time to regrow but I still have heat damage and straight pieces that can’t be cut because of where they are situated. So how do or what should I do in order to help the curls come back? Literally those straight pieces are not responding to any finger curling do scrunching. I go a week or more without washing my hair. I have low porosity, low density and low to medium texture hair. I could wash my hair every 3 or 4 days I guess but with my schedule once a week in the shortest I go.

Sadly this is a look i feel like i cant wear rn in life. I did a gel / wet look curly all the time in hogh school well hr high more so - the older i got the less i did 😂😂 but even now when my hairs feeling curly and kinda of u know stiff (damage and short) i just feel the need to massage and scrape my scalp aome and “shake” my hair out cause it feels nearly stuck!
