Remember to show your support to our subscriber Alida, for sending in her audition tape 👇🏼😁 Keep pushing forward and making progress!

I apologize if this is redundant but I am trying to find where you can submit an audition tape for review? I went on your Instagram I could not see a link to submit is there an email that you can provide that we can submit our audition to you? So incredibly thankful for you doing this! I've been looking for something like this for a very long time

Good job for someone starting out and yes, technically that’s a polished self-tape. The great thing is there is always learning in the craft. I started in my forties and thirteen years later, it’s still a journey of discovery. Great advice here and I am sure you will grow as an actor.

Hey, thank you for all your vids, it really helps alot. I've asked a question before under one of your videos abt martial arts, which martial art would you say most useful for acting career? I've found alot of options but I want to know which one on top. Hope you know something abt it.
@TheActorsAcademy2 жыл бұрын
It simply depends on the person. Of course the more abilities you can learn from your martial arts the better (kicks, punch, grappling).
@jo3ren2 жыл бұрын
It'll be great if you can give one or two name bc I've actually looked for it and got many results, if you can give a name I would really appreciate it. But again if you can't Im still great full. )
@TheActorsAcademy2 жыл бұрын
@@jo3ren I can’t specifically guide you towards one martial arts, because there are many and some may be good or bad for an individual depending on their physical abilities. If you are just trying to go by the most popular, I’d suggest doing a google search to get a definitive answer. Hope this helps 👍🏼

Man you know i've been struggling about something recently is that i judge myself too much when i'm practicing and i have to watch myself back and IT IS WEIRD, dunno what to do, i love films and acting..... Please HELP
@TheActorsAcademy2 жыл бұрын
Part of being a proficient actor is not judging yourself too critically. It’s why a lot of actors quit, because they don’t believe in their abilities. You can try audio recording instead, but that will have its own obvious limitations. Sometimes it’s about starting off small, but it’s hard to judge your own work if you can’t listen or watch it back.

Bit of a weird question but any advice on how to play drunk? it's common to see this in movies or tv but rarely do people act concavely intoxicated.
@massaj33072 жыл бұрын
Search up drunk people or if u drink record yourself when ur drunk or like a friend
@amansharma46992 жыл бұрын
Hey hey. This actress is doing flat acting. It depends on character. If you are playing iron man it's okay because he hide his emotions but normally you play with emotions. But great initiative

I’m struggling to get feedback from failed auditions. Would you be open to seeing one of my selftapes before I send it to you?
@TheActorsAcademy2 жыл бұрын
You can send them to me and as long as the show which the audition was from has already come out, then I can review it, otherwise for confidentiality purposes, I wouldn’t be able to post it if the show hasn’t been released yet. As an option, you can always record yourself doing a scene from something that’s already been out and send that in instead
