As a working mom I really appreciate this video! Most “soft-life” videos made me feel bad because I didn’t marry a millionaire husband but thanks for making this soft life routine based in reality 😂❤

Being constantly on the go can slow you down by causing so much stress that it leads to being sick or burnt out. And it slows you more and longer than slowing down each day or week. Love this video and idea!

So true! Me and constantly rushing (from thing to thing and trying to function at my max all the time) are NOT compatible.
@KappaCow17 күн бұрын
My biggest problem is a constant revolving door of being stressed out - then I try to take it easy and enjoy my life and for some reason feel guilty like I should be doing more, or I'm too ungrateful, then back to being stressed out again
@kristidoingthings17 күн бұрын
I COMPLETELY understand that! For me, I have to actively give myself permission to rest and remind myself that God didn’t design me to go 24-7 until I burn out. And during the busy seasons I have to intentionally build it into my schedule. Hang in there ❤️

Wow! This video struck some chords. I've never been able to set boundaries and I let other people take up all my time, getting me sick, unable to finish tasks or whatnot... I also didn't know there was a "soft life" thing and the hustling mindset always tore me apart. Thank you for your words and I'll be sticking around to hear more of them ☺️

This!! I'm so glad you addressed this issue and the first thing you said about soft life not being about the culture of being a kept luxurious woman is what kept me from thinking a soft life was for me. I'm so glad to find teachers like yourself who actually empower regular women to achieve a soft life.

Your “extreme example” is exactly where I am right now. I’m starting my new job in a few days. I want to get in the mindset of having a soft life and also accomplishing my goals and your video is sooooo helpful. Thank you love Also really great tip on finding ways for others to help me. Historically I try to do it all on my own and I get burned out. Def gonna sign up for a meal delivery service

Accept that help, girl! There is nothing wrong with delegating and focusing your energy on what's most vital to you. Hope the new job is going well!

When you said procrastination builds anxiety, that is the truth! Mh husband is a procrastinater & it drives me nuts because I'm not. I like planning my days. I have anxiety issues as it is so me having a list & trying to go by it & a schedule helps. Him procrastinating kills me inside lol
@kristidoingthings2 ай бұрын
😂 very understandable! I’ve learned to accept that other people don’t function the way I do, and sometimes the way I function doesn’t work for other people. But as long as it doesn’t hurt them or us or our family business…we have to let them do them.

I’m grateful I found this ! Mom of 3 little ones. Married and work full time and just opened my own private practice part time. My regular job is mentally exhausting to the point of muscle tension while at work and the kids also trigger much stress at home. Do you recommend a certain planner that you have found beneficial?
@kristidoingthings4 ай бұрын
Girl, you have a lot going on! And you deserve to give yourself some extra love. This feels like a shameless plug, it's not, lol. But I do have a video that you might find helpful. It's about finding where you have time when it feels like you don't have time. I'll link here in case it's helpful. kzbin.info/www/bejne/baTYoIyYoNiLj8ksi=6oEtXeJfckozktWp As for a planner, I think that they can be so individual. For me, I have been THE most consistent with planning by using either a simple notebook to brain dump all my tasks, or using my digital planner on my Ipad. But the magic in it has been having it as part of my routine each day because I know it helps me to not feel so anxious about all the things I have going on.
