I am so grateful to you. What a joy to have this video. For 2 yrs I paid for 365 Office and could not use it. Product key was on old laptop which was dead and could not be retrieved for new laptop. Unable to reach Microsoft to cancel billing or get it to work. What a nightmare. This is so unacceptable. It needs to be escalated to the Attorney General's Office. They fleece us and zero support no phone no store no office, and a website that sends you in circles. Truly offensive non-support and abuse of customers. The support phone number for Microsoft has a recording that tells you to search online for help then immediately says goodbye and hangs up on you. I called because I wanted to talk to someone. So many companies want YOU to fix your own problems. They have no problem taking your money... then do everything to hide their support dept, if it even exists.

Update for this method, but if you choose XBOX: There is no support. There's an automated system and a single form they'll have you fill out endlessly. No humans. The phone number available online goes to a pre-recorded message telling you to go to the online form. My issue is that I switched phone numbers while I had my Xbox put away, now I can't log into the account and use my game progress. It's my "home Xbox" so I can play the games on another account, but not on any other console. My only fix is to get my old phone number back for a month _just to get a _*_FUCKING VERIFICATION CODE_*

Update to your video, MS has plugged the access route you describe, the irony is I cannot log into MS, so followed your suggestions. But NOW, when you should have reached the "Contact an agent" you are presented with (sign in to contact an agent) full circle, Microsoft are getting worse, they simply do NOT want to engage with their customers, at least, Retail customers.

Apparently to this guide the only way to reach them is to do either this or you can go through the support section with a different account that you may just for this and you can ask for surface pro support which I had to do to get into my locked Microsoft account which they asked me to sign in to get support and don't provide a phone number you suck Microsoft you you just get better customer support somebody's going to end up suing you if they come on a business deal and their account gets locked and they can't reply okay

What's irritating, they still take my monthly 365 subscription.
