“I’m not the guy” was such a respectable response. We don’t always know everything 💯

The wealth of knowledge discussed then released for free is unbelievably appreciated. I've learned so much from your podcasts and I can't believe the amount of people you've helped too. Thank you Power Project. Oh and please bring back that horrendous whisper segment. Im shocked I miss it as much as I do

my personal experience with barefoot shoes starting 4 years ago: I programmed barefoot shoes into my daily life. started with hour a day increasing the amount over 4 maxes then backed off for a week. then added more time each 4 week cycle. years later i hate when I have to wear normal shoes. minimalist all the time unless work requires a dress shoe. I have recommended this for people years. glad to see proponents of barefoot talk about it in an approachable way.

Great football player but has had a few injuries. Has some movement stuff he can clean up will help him a lot.

I wore barefoot shoes exlusively for a year. Ran for 20+ minutes in Kobe shoes on a basketball court. Feet were so sore the next day that I couldn't even finish my workout.

there is also interference between cardio training and strength training. do cardio afterwards, not before strength training. and even that can still affect your recovery and next day training. there's only so much we can do before we burn ourselves out.

@@bushidofreakz yeah, I don't do cardio all that much outside of playing basketball. I workout then do plyos.

I ended up with a lot of back pain from wearing the Vivo shoes. The pains did not start until I was 4 months in and it then got severe at 6 months. My right leg is anatomically 1cm shorter than my left. Are barefoot shoes just not for everyone or is there something else I might be missing?

I'm no expert, but I would imagine that you should be wearing a hard insole on the shorter leg to compensate for the difference in length. Otherwise you could be doing some serious damage. It's important to listen to pain sometimes.
