As an owner of a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek, I can confidently tell you that you won’t regret it. I’ve had mine for a year now. My only complaint is the Apple CarPlay specifically, not the entire infotainment system. While in use, it tends to suddenly trip off and stop mirroring your phone; it’s like the system runs out of computer RAM or something. If you don’t use Apple CarPlay or care about that, then it’s a very good car. Another thing that caught me off-guard was the size when I saw it in person. Why? Well, I didn’t test drive it. The day I first drove it was me driving off the lot, after 1 month of waiting for it to arrive, so as to take delivery (I live 4.5 hrs away from the dealership). I just “knew” it was the right car for me. Preventative maintenance is really easy to do also, so long-term ownership is comfortable and easy.
