How to add a holding company to your structure ?

How about creating a new opco as a subsidiary to the existing co which will then cease active business operations and become a de facto holdco? This is a more straight forward way if you don’t need to add shareholders or implement an estate freeze

Also a possibility yes! Some clients have assets, licences, etc. so it's not as simple to consider but otherwise, it's an option.
