I don't own a sewing machine and therefore just never bothered to even think about using a zipper on anything I make. So thank you so so much for this, I can finally make all kinds of things zip up!! Yay!!!

Thank you so much for your tutorial! I didn't have the exact tools, but somehow made it work to add a zipper to pillows I crocheted years ago. I used my smallest sized hook, C, and the actual yarn rather than thread.
