For anyone in the new vroid studio follow these steps: Click on the "hairstyle" tab, then on the left side click the section of hair you want to edit (front, back etc.), and finally on the right side click a button that says "hair bounce".

how do you select and move bones though? i need to for a hat i made out of hair to only have one part moving (like link's sleep cap thing in zelda) and none of the other parts to move like floppy hair bits

I still wish they had propper mesh transformation, as a pose to transparency. I use my VRoid VRM in VRChat, and porting it to Quest is honestly a certain breed of hell, that I can't even begin to express.

Hello! i know im probably pretty late to this but do you have any idea how to fix my problem? after adding bones to the hair it totally dislocates and looks like its flying or something :(

I had this happen recently too when I was re-adding bones. I haven't found a fix yet but I think messing with the settings might work. Try that and see what happens.

@@Syafire well I’ve messed with the settings a bit but sometimes it makes it really worse or sometimes starts going all over the place, clips and makes the model look bald (in animations/poses) even if I put the stiffness all the way up it’s still weird and glitchy 🥺🤷‍♀️
