They should give you more mounting choices as cars don,t always have an area where you can mount that flat.

100%, I'd worry about someone breaking in and taking it. Would be good if it had a removable fitting, so it can be taken out as you need to.

You can get the versions that actually build into the dashboard, radio slot, i think i would get fed up with having to remove this one every time i left the car.

@stevenc5227 I already have a factory one in mine, but yeah, I would get fed up of removing, but cheaper than replacing the side window

@@gbeeshrimp Yes indeed, example to fit a door side glass on a Vauxhall Corsa 2012 £600 by Autoglass, and there was nothing inside to steal, insurance would have wrote the car off I'm sure. Managed to get one used for less than £30 delivered.
