I've downloaded a mod, but when I press the button to play I get an error message, been searching for video after video but nothing seems to be resolving my issue.

My biggest question/concern is knowing how to tell what a mod is going to work with v50 and what won't because I made this big pack of 145 mods for friends and I was very proud of taking the time to perfectly fine tune and cator it to our group then v50 dropped so I'm afraid of having to go back through and test each and every mod

My suggestion would be turn them off in chunks, so like have a ton on and turn off 10, and test and see if the issues are resolved then turn them on one by one until you find the problem mod.

New problem, I removed all my config files from this modpack I'm putting together for some friends but after doing so and trying to boot into the game so I can generate some fresh config files for the mods I actually have installed (I had a bunch of config files that were a mess from mods I removed) now the game won't boot up beyond the online and lan options I click online, it makes a sound, and then nothing else happens. Not sure what's going on because after doing the same thing with a different pack, it worked fine. EDIT: PROBLEM SOLVED! Config files had nothing to do with it, as I assumed they didn't. The culprit was Rosies Moons, not sure why but it won't let you go past the launch mode menu. Might be because there's a moon included in it that has since become deprecated. Which sucks because the moons in there look cool and it had some nest looking enemy sub types that go with the base game enemies really well. But luckily the other moons can be downloaded individually and they are up to date.

I have a problem where I open up the modded version, and I searched for lobbies and I don’t see any available. How do I fix it?

I apologize but I am not too familiar with multiplayer as I mainly play alone. One thing I do know is that certain mods need to be client sided. So if you have a mod that another play does not have then you will not be able to play with them.

do you have to download overwolf to download thunderstore or nah?

yes, but Overwolf is better than it used to be and I totally forget I have it installed most of the time.

Once I install all the mods, how do I start the modded version of lethal company? I followed everything in your video, but my game doesnt appear to be modded

Hello! You should see a modded button in the thunderstore window, it should say like Vanilla - Modded near the top right. If you launch it from thunderstore with the modded button, it'll launch the game for you on Steam.
