When I to turn track section, the “replace or double drum track” option is light gray and won’t let me choose it. Did I do something wrong

A couple things could possibly be happening. Do you have the whole track selected or just a region or both? Are you trying to convert a comp track (take folder)? Try making sure your region is consolidated by bouncing in place and moving to a new track. See if that makes a difference.
